⚡Officially: The rebel forces together with the Main Intelligence Directorate shot down an enemy A-50 aircraft, - commander Mykola Oleshchuk. This long-range radar “flyer” is intended for tracking targets and guiding other aircraft to targets. The A-50 aims to identify the place where Ukrainian anti-aircraft defense systems are being deployed and transmit information for strikes against them. Times of Ukraine

Imagine Russia sending fighter jets to attack the US, as defence for any of the countries the US currently bombs or illegally occupies
