Strange goings on in the Ukraine government, as said in the last post Zelensky had started a reshuffle but it was interrupted on US intel of an upcoming Russian missile attack which prompted a Zelensky dash to western Europe again.
The key change was the sacking of the new defence minister (forced to resign) Fedorov. He had only been in post for 6 months and in a social media post he listed 20 great things he had achieved in what was a sort of protest against being *resigned*.
On the list was his promotion of the use of long range drones, but as I had also mentioned previously, had won headlines but seemed to be at the expense of the frontline soldiers. Another was introducing open bids for military supply contracts to counter corruption that won him high praise from the public but not so much from the military high command for some reason.
Word is that there was increasing animosity between army chief Syrsky and defence minister Fedorov with Syrsky putting it to Zelensky that the front would collapse and the war would be lost if Fedorov was not replaced immediately and there was a re-allocation of resources.
So with Fedorov’s increasing public popularity annoying Zelensky and military decisions that annoyed Syrsky, Fedorov just had to go.
Top of Syrsky’s urgent needs is for increased recruitment (press ganging) and that a new defence minister was needed to push this agenda through as quickly as possible. And so the now ex chief of police has got the job of dragging people off the streets to be sent to the front in ever greater numbers.
Meanwhile pro-Ukrainian commentators are struggling with the Ukraine army’s Deep State maps where they are having to geolocate the Ukrainian shelling of Russian troops 6 or 7 km deep into blue Ukrainian held zones well beyond even the grey (disputed) zone around Kramatosk. An indication of how slow Deep State is in updating their maps but still the map of choice used by the western media.
Hence you get the situation of the Daily Telegraph announcing Russian troops entering Konstaninovka as Russian high command announce its complete capture backed by dozens of geolocated videos.
The Ukrainians are well used to this and so plan ahead by putting a few loyal troops in basements to pop up waving a flag after the Russian announcement, or they release videos of the same prepared earlier, or just use AI to try and fake them with hilarious deep fake fails as seen on previous occasions.
Meanwhile the Russian high command has said they are now in full control of Lyman just north east of the Kramatosk-Slovansk conurbation which is now within a huge Russian cauldron.
With the Russians now actually attacking the conurbation directly commentators are saying that the Russians will no longer agree to them being used as a Ukrainian bargaining chip. Any new negotiating proposal will be extended beyond the Donbas and may include Sumy, Kharkiv and Odessa.
Not that there is the hope of any negotiations any time soon. Trump has his hands full, the Europeans are dead set on full-on war but need the US, same goes for Zelensky. The Russians have lost all faith in any of them and are happy just cruising on establishing a ‘buffer zone’ that may end up being a substantial part of what’s left of Ukraine. Note the Russians now have blocked the deadly duo Witkoff and Kushner multiple times from even setting foot back in the country.
In the Gulf and no one is quite sure just what Trump intends to do next. By his own admission just 2 weeks ago when he signed the MOU he couldn't keep up the missile strikes or allow his attacks to keep the Straits closed for much longer. He knows he just doesn’t have the missiles or the oil reserves.
Some are guessing there will be a quick raid on one of the small islands by US marines, go in, do a bit of damage, and get out again real fast just to say that they’re capable of ground manoeuvers anytime if necessary, which of course realistically they aren’t.
Trump put himself right back to where he was 2 weeks ago, badly needing to get out before his missiles and oil stores run dry and global inflation goes through the roof.

Oh dear, apparently China is calling Trump ‘our nation building comrade’ but not in a kind way.
Trump's ‘bull in a China shop’ approach to international relations has taken China out of the western neocon’s gunsights, at least for a while.
US allies have certainly suffered, not least Ukraine. The US has gone from being its number one backer to now just supplying an inadequate dribble of weapons procured by third parties in the EU on Ukraine's behalf.
And interesting commentary on Russian tactics as they close in on the final battle for the Donbas, many thought they would sweep up the valley taking the 1 town and 2 cities one at a time but they have now lined the ridge overlooking all 3 at once.
The Russians are now in a position to turn Druzhkivka, Kramatorsk and Sloviansk into rubble if need be, the Ukrainians have nothing to stop them and there is no one coming to save them. The coming battle will be a huge meat grinder needing continual troop reinforcement by Ukraine and could result in the final disabling of the entire Ukrainian army if Syrsky doesn’t get the new extended mass mobilisation he has repeatedly called for.
The EU also recognise the dilemma and are making noise about shipping out all the Ukrainian refugees harbouring in the EU back to Ukraine in spite of laws that prevent sending people back to a war zone.
More on the recent sacking of the defence minister Fedorov whose supporters are coming out and demonstrating on the streets while influencers are taking shots at prominent Zelensky regime figures. One of Fedorov’s advisors (Sternenko) in an interview with the Kyiv Independent has revealed that army Chief Syrsky does not actually analyse Ukraine troop losses and doesn’t even count them, he just constantly calls for more men.
Zelensky is running around in a panic but his greatest concern is not saving the Donbas, it's getting more Patriot air defence missiles to defend Kiev. He’s demanding 2 or 3 hundred from the western allies but he’s not going to get them given the rate they're being burned up in the reignited Gulf war, and the belated realisation by the EU that provoking Putin might mean they could need some for themselves.
Meanwhile in the Gulf more US troops killed and injured in Iranian attacks on US bases which of course is a good excuse for more escalation, but what exactly?
The only thing left is a ground action but the US is in no position to mount a proper invasion so it will have to be a very limited incursion onto a small island as mentioned in my last post, there simply isn’t anything else they can do and even that will be of no real purpose or benefit, other than the look of the thing. Trump seems to be taking lessons from Zelensky.

Trump only moved his aircraft to Jordan because they were at risk and instantly found out they weren’t safe in Jordan either. Interesting to note the videos of the strikes on US bases in Jordan that the famed and highly sought after US air defence systems failed completely.
Not sure where Trump thinks he’s going from here, not up the escalation ladder because he’s run out of rungs while Iran still has plenty of room.
And another MOU is not going to happen, the Iranians won’t waste their time, they have the Straits, they don’t actually need anything else, normalised relations with the US would be nice but …., whatever. Trump is going to have to pack up and leave in spite of what all the TV generals are saying.
Iran escalation - further steps;
Destruction of whole Gulf oil infrastructure.
Destruction of Gulf desalination.
Destruction of Gulf under sea Internet cables.
Destruction of Trump property assets in the Gulf.
There’s even the possibility of Iran knocking up a basic nuke and exploding in the Iranian desert just as a demonstration.
US escalation - further steps;
None, unless you count the US starting another forever war.
Iran has been living under hard sanctions for 50 years, they’ve got absolutely nothing but are willing to risk it all.
The US could consider bombing civilian targets or using a nuke but either would just make the US a pharaoh state to the rest of the world. A real ground invasion will take a year to prepare for, and the Iranians will have a year to get ready. A limited ground attack will get US troops slaughtered by Iranian missiles and drones.
Note also that Israel, having dragged the US into starting the war with Iran, have sat back for this restart leaving it all up to the US.
So the US is left holding the baby and Israel avoids the x1.5 tit for tat Iranian response so they can quietly get on with their land grab in Syria.
Interesting Robert Barnes pro gambler tip for Polymarket. Keep a close eye out for sudden big money swings in the betting on geopolitical markets indicating someone with insider info knows a big announcement is imminent.
You too can get onboard the Trump ‘family and friends’ gravy train, it’s not about working harder, just smarter.
Which of course leads onto the recent Trump social media post where he’s offering the ability to front-run the markets with early access to his market moving social media posts, all for just $100,000 a month. Can’t say fairer than that.
The open and completely shameless corruption currently on display at the top of US politics from both parties is a sure sign the empire is about to fall.
Elsewhere and China has just re-entered the oil market starting buying just 3 million barrels a day against their pre Iran war levels of around 20 million but still enough to make controlling price more difficult, but maybe that game is over now anyway.
The US has suddenly stopped oil exports, exports had spiked upwards to prop up Japan and South Korea after the start of the Iran blockade but presumably now that's all over as the US reserve is running down fast.
And so oil price rises must be coming, talk again of $200 a barrel at which point comes massive demand destruction, think global fuel rationing and deindustrialization, before price starts to pull back.
All of which is very inflationary leading to interest rate rises causing an inflationary recession where you lose your job and have to cope with constantly rising prices.
The people will be on their knees begging for ‘The Great Reset’ before this slow motion train wreck is finally over.
Very interesting Jeffrey Sachs interview below explaining the US plan to control both Ukraine and Iran based on Brjinsk’s 1997 ‘The Great Chess Board’, now with added AI from Palantir.

2 new flag waving fails by the Ukrainians desperate to convince their European and US backers that they still control Konstantinovka despite the reality of the Russians having taken it a week ago.
The first was exposed as an obvious AI video fake and the second was yesterday when 4 Ukrainian soldiers were ordered to sneak into the city and take photos of themselves waving a Ukraine flag and then sneak out.
But the Russians found them killing 2 in a gun battle and decided to do a photo shoot of their own with the 2 remaining Ukraine troops holding a Russian flag. The result being pro Ukrainian sites showing the guys with a Ukrainian flag and pro Russian sites showing the same guys with a Russian flag, awkward.
The actual result was 4 lost troops for a PR stunt, again. But considering how important PR is for funding the war and the fact that Ukraine has no independent income at all, it's not really surprising.
This is why being a funded proxy is so dangerous, normally a country just stops and comes to terms when it runs out of money but a proxy can be driven to total destruction by its overlords if the people don’t step up and stop it.
And back to Ukraine army chief Syrsky who is still facing the sack even after winning his dispute with the now ex Defence minister Fedorov. Syrsky wanted resources spent on man power while Fedorov was using it for drones, the people backed Fedorov but Zelensky didn’t.
But with continued public protests in support of Fedorov’s policies many are saying that Syrsky is doomed. I have posted previously that the long term CIA plan is to replace Syrsky with CIA trained Budanov for the guerilla war following the collapse of Ukraine’s frontline, Zelensky may take this opportunity to carry out that CIA order.
And it looks like the Houthis are driving the final nail into the coffin of Gulf oil by blocking the Red Sea to the Saudis and their oil pipeline. They have threatened to do this before without follow through so we await action. The Red Sea accounts for 10% of global oil supply and added to the Gulf’s 20% in lost supply spells doom for the global economy.
And so back to ‘where are we?’ as the Iranian conflict descends into something like the Ukraine conflict. The US has nowhere to go other than to walk away or a forever war, which like all the others they can’t actually win.
This one is even worse because the US can’t even carpet bomb Iran with their huge stockpile of dumb bombs, and they are running out of missiles. Just look at the chart below showing US missile production and delivery dates that are around 4 frigging years ffs. But of course due to the oil supply shortage the global economy will be on its knees long before that anyway.
So wtf does Trump think he’s doing other than obviously working for the globalist elite and doing a far better job of it than their ‘No Oil’ protesters of a few years ago, but otherwise nobody really knows. There is no plan other than to keep up a global oil embargo that can only lead to a global depression and there seems nobody is willing to stop him.
There can be no more negotiations from here (same as in the Ukraine conflict) and other than walking away there is only a ground war that the US is totally unprepared for (unlike the Russians in the Ukrainian conflict).
It is a Tuesday so maybe we will get a TACO afterall, fingers crossed.
US-Iran Nightmare. Is a Ground Invasion Coming?
