Re: WW3 Countdown

Trump, having signed a MOU which gave control of the Straits to Iran in exchange for Iran keeping them open and the oil flowing, then set about undermining the deal with another rug pull and market manipulation play.

Predictably Iran forced close the cheat route Trump opened up which made Trump so mad he restarted his bombing campaign using up more of his dwindling missile reserves while guaranteeing the total re-closure of the Straits which will drain the last of America's very important ‘strategic’ oil reserve pushing the US closer to economic recession.

Preventing the depletion of US missile and oil reserves was the whole point of signing the MOU in the first place.

So Trump has proven himself not only a loser but an idiot as well though he, plus family and friends, did make a few bucks in the markets on the play so there is that.

Trump must have been talking to Zelensky who said recently that what happened on the ground in war didn't matter because drones ruled. This is pure cope and completely false as history has proven over and over again.

If Ukraine can survive 4 years of bombing then Iran certainly can
, so next up is the major escalation trap with flashing neon lights which beckons to Trump and that’s the ground invasion.

Meanwhile at the NATO summit Trump agreed to allow Zelensky a license to make Patriot missiles but with the proviso that the company in the US that holds the patent might have something to say about it.

You can bet they will because they know full well Zelensky will just sell the plans for cash to anyone who wants them. Besides that, actual production is years down the line and Ukraine doesn't have years.

And Trump is still mad at Putin, Trump thought his long range drone bombing campaign deep into Russia would force Putin into a ceasefire and the start of negotiations on Ukrainian terms but Putin just laughed and said Russia was winning where it counts, on the battlefield.

History has proven bombing alone can't win wars but that's a hard pill to swallow if you don't have anything else. In Iran, same as was the case in Vietnam, the US can only hit what they can see but the real problem comes from what they can’t see, note that the US has even stopped bothering trying to blow up the entrances to the Iranian underground missile bases let alone trying to destroy the bases themselves.

So all in all a very bad week for Trump who’s now back to holding the ticking time bomb that is the total depletion of the US’s strategic oil reserve while facing 2 losing wars.

WW3 countdown clock triggered. T minus 70 days and counting.

In an interview yesterday Trump and Rubio revealed their complete and utter ignorance as to what is actually happening in these wars the US started.

Specifically in reference to the Ukraine war but the lack of understanding can easily be extended to the Iran war as well.

Trump and Rubio showed their pride in the fact that they had escalated the Ukraine war by facilitating the deep drone attacks into Russia.

The problem they can't see is that Russia is fighting an existential war while the US is simply trying to increase pressure to change their opponents outlook.

But that is never going to happen when the opponent knows they are fighting for their very existence.

Russia knows they are in an existential war because they spent 20 years watching NATO march right up to their front doorstep, and then listened to EU’s Kaja Kallas say the quiet bit out loud, “Russia needs to be broken up”.

Iran is in the same position, but even more obviously so.

So Trump and Rubio using military escalation to try to change Russia and Iran’s mind is actually just reinforcing their current mindset.

The US is locked into seeing every problem as a nail and so every solution is a hammer.

But it's not working this time because in a drone and missile war the US doesn't have escalation dominance, the Russians and the Iranians do, and are more than willing to use it in the fight for their lives.

Which takes us to the E3 (UK, France and Germany) where the leadership, none of whom are even as bright as Trump and Rubio, are happily firing off missiles into Russia with absolutely no understanding of the danger they are in.

At some point Russia will need to deal with the E3 and that will be by returning missile strikes.

The fools leading the E3 think they are safe hiding behind NATO Article 5 which makes the US come to their rescue, but it doesn't and they won't.

Article 5 does not demand other NATO countries join a war. So what happens when the US says no?

As I've pointed out previously, nothing will happen when Russia strikes back.

The E3 can't escalate further which is nukes because using nukes against Russia would be suicidal. All they could actually do is to continue to fire their ever decreasing missile stocks into Russia.

Which takes us back to the US and Iran. To force Iran into compliance the US might consider nukes but it's very doubtful that's a real option. All the US can really do is to continue to fire their ever decreasing missile stocks into Iran.

So where exactly are these 2 wars going?

Well nowhere, other than a slow steady eventual win for Russia and Iran. Without a huge ground invasion neither of these wars are even remotely winnable by the west. The only real question is how much losing is the west willing to take before realising the inevitable?

Vietnam took the US 8 years while Afghanistan took 20 so although the answer should be ‘the sooner the better’, in reality it could take a while.

Meanwhile the Czech President Petr Pavel tells us that the reason Zelensky and Budanov are saying the war must end by the Autumn is because that’s the timing of the Russian Duma elections in September and if Putin’s party is returned to power then Putin will trigger a full mobilisation and upgrade the SMO to full war status which will loosen a lot of the Russian legal restraints on their military.

Is that what’s needed to allow the Russians, by their own laws, to expand the conflict into western Europe to deal with the E3 drone and missile threat?

The Zelensky and Budanov 2 month timer might be a lot more serious than we first realised.

Re: WW3 Countdown

Ukraine is using valuable FPV drones to attack dormant oil tankers in the Sea of Azov and you have to wonder why.

The ships are being moved out of the area anyway but meanwhile the Ukrainian army is being steadily pushed out of the Donbas.

Ukraine is using FPV drones on the ships but the drones would surely have been of more value on the battlefield attacking Russian troops.

The drones were diverted because the battlefield has been dropped from the official Ukrainian narrative, a fake narrative and diversionary optics are far more important than reality to Zelensky and for good reason.

In the Donbas the Russian army is advancing on the Kramatosk Slovianka conjoined conurbation and are within 10 km on 3 sides, well within artillery and drone range.

And behind is nothing. There are no built defences for 70 km, no towns or villages of any significance, just open fields.

In fact there are no more major Ukrainian built defences anywhere  throughout the rest of Ukraine except around the major cities. NATO spent the 8 years between 2014 and 2022 concentrating solely on building up defences in the Donbas.

That’s the reason Zelensky never wanted to give it up, he knew there was nothing else. Donbas is the industrial heartland heavily covered in towns and villages for the workers of industry. The rest of Ukraine is open agricultural fields with sporadic small villages, nothing that gives an army under fire any real cover.

Everything Ukraine had, and that the west could give, was thrown into defending the Donbas and now it's all been used up, now there’s nothing left but fake narratives and deceptive optics.

So Zelensky concentrates western opinion on the myth that attacking dormant oil tankers will collapse the Russian economy and the western leadership really, really wants to believe. At least it keeps the money flowing if nothing else.

To Iran and Trump says ‘the ceasefire is over but the talks have begun’ while the Iranians say ‘there are no talks’. We’ve been here before.

So Trump has once again sabotaged the escape route constructed by Vance on Trump’s instructions. Once again the author of ‘The art of the deal’ is proving himself to be deal incapable.

It’s hard to say if someone gets to him and forces a change of mind or if he just does it all by himself, whatever, the US is staring at the bottom of the fuel tank and we wait to see if Vance will be sent back to talk to the Iranians for the 8th time.

Many commentators who were saying that the inevitable, necessary demand destruction caused by the oil shortage must lead to a global ‘recession’ are now saying ‘depression’ instead.

Which relates back to why there are all those dormant oil tankers, demand destruction due to reduced supply is also keeping the price relatively stable. The whole world is currently deindustrialising because of the Iran war.

Back to Europe and after the NATO summit some NATO countries are saying ‘it’s a shame, if only Ukraine could join NATO, but …, how sad’.

But as Jennifer Kavanagh points out, there is absolutely nothing to stop any of the NATO countries signing a bi-lateral military agreement to support Ukraine - ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

The reason they don’t is because the western leadership are all full of shit. They really don’t give a fig about Ukraine or Ukrainians who they see as just an expendable proxy on the way to their goal of crippling Russia and robbing them of their $75 trillion in natural resources, nothing more.

The west never used to be so openly contemptable, something shifted about 20 years ago and now we have a constant precession of leaders that are all totally embroiled in corruption or incompetence or both.

Blame the globalist elite who pick them but who themselves are controlled by the old establishment banking families. There's a reason the Rothchilds build anti-riot water cannons into the fences surrounding their properties and it's not because they're afraid of officialdom.

Meanwhile, on Trump's mental health, “the Islamic state of Japan” fired a hundred missiles at a US warship that ducked and weaved and shot all the missiles down with Patriot missiles (that aren’t actually carried on US warships but never mind), ok.

Trump also said he will “decimate all areas of Iran” if they kill him’ (referring to assassination plot reports) right, ok, so nothing to worry about there, move along.

Re: WW3 Countdown

Trump returns to the policy of blockading the Straits and on top maybe instigating a 20% toll. This will teach the Iranians a lesson who are only charging 2%.

That just leaves the question, has Trump gone completely mad or is he working for the globalist elite in their effort to destroy western economies in order to overthrow liberal democracies and take power?

It’s a tough call.

Certainly global reserves have not been replenished
by much during the ceasefire and so the full force of the 20% drop in supply will hit global economies soon, especially the US.

Some say that Trump is betting on his oil reserves being bigger than the Chinese (they’re not) and so China will force Iran to comply with US demands and open the Straits on America’s terms (they won’t).

The Chinese have not as yet re-entered the oil markets at all since the start of the conflict and are instead relying on reserves but those reserves are thought to be 3x that of the US according to some analysts.

After a drop on first news of the ceasefire, price is now heading back up into the $80-$100 range set after the start of the war. The market price was relatively stable because big users were tapping reserves that were there for just such a situation. Once those reserves run out is when the real price fireworks will start and far more deliberate global demand destruction will be necessary, and a lot more oil tankers with nothing to do.

Amusingly the Europeans imported an extra 20% LNG from Russia in June, let’s hope they can get that figure down before they start their much reported upcoming war with Russia.

Meanwhile pro-Ukrainian commentators are asking deep, searching questions such as why hasn’t the Ukraine army capitalised on Ukraine’s most recent remarkable news worthy achievements?

Like when they were destroying 10 trucks a day on the Crimean highway that carries 2000 a day. Or when they were attacking oil tankers that were sitting dormant in the sea of Azov after 20% of global oil market supply/demand was destroyed after Iran closed the Straits.

Frontline soldiers are complaining that they are not seeing any benefits from these news hogging exploits at all. Could it be that it was all just for the look of the thing? Bellowing smoke does look good in videos after all.

And strange rumours about recently deceased Lyndsey Graham. There is wonder as to how he travelled back from Kiev to the US so quickly and then had his heart attack.

From Kiev you need to take the train to Poland before flying to the US. Some are asking was Graham caught up in the drone factory attack in Ukraine that was reported to have happened just after his visit, and was he actually evacuated by the US military straight from Ukraine?

Trump boasts he’s going to send a 4th night of missile attacks so Iran got their retaliation in first this time by sending another drone and missile attack to the Gulf which included cluster warheads.

US military insiders are saying that the only real targets left in Iran are underground and impossible to get at so they are really just bouncing rubble at this point or put another way ‘turning camel shit into glass’.

With the restart of the war talk now goes back to supply problems and being highlighted is LNG which the Qataris, who were supplying the EU, are saying it will take 3-5 years to get production back up.

This is of course completely unacceptable to the EU who have a war with Russia pencilled in for 2030 and still have all the tanks and stuff to make before then.

Another big concern is the global supply of diesel and jet fuel that’s refined from the heavier Gulf oils, diesel exports from both the middle east and Russia have been affected by war so higher prices and rationing likely in the future, diesel is of course mainly used in agriculture and in shipping and the road and rail transportation of goods worldwide.

Meanwhile Trump ok’ed the Saudi bombing of Yemen because Iran reopened the flight corridor between the 2 countries, now the Houthis are again threatening the Saudi pipeline taking oil to the Red Sea to be shipped out so as to avoid the Gulf blockade. The Houthis already proved they can blockade the Red Sea before and can do it again which will take the global oil supply deficit from 20% to 30% as if things weren’t bad enough. Genius.

Russia retaliated for Zelensky’s recent drone attacks on shipping by shutting down Ukraine's only sea port in Odessa damaging 10 ships. It was thought odd that Zelensky broke the unwritten truce that kept Odessa open when he went after the ships stationed in the Sea of Azov, but Zelensky is ever on the hunt for impressive optics and couldn’t resist.

Now Zelensky has run off to Europe again as he always does when US intel gives him a heads up that a big Russian drone and missile attack is being prepped for Kiev, currently he’s in France helping the French celebrate Bastille Day and has left another Ukrainian major government reshuffle only half done.

Zelensky is of course begging for more money and missiles, the lack of air defence missiles is now so bad for Ukraine they have even stopped lying about the number of incoming Russian missiles they shoot down. To drive home the urgency they now report zero Russian missiles are being shot down.

The problem is that the west have next to no air defence missiles left themselves while they are busy antagonising Putin by firing their own attack drones and missiles into Russia. It’s starting to dawn on them that they might need some air defence themselves in the near future. :mistake:
