Oh no, not that BS again :D

Merka, this is a typical scam site as there are still many many more. They all look similar and are full of nonsense with some pics for drooling noobs and at the end there is nice price for a indi that you better delete right away. Believe Pava, he knows that rubbish for around seven years or even more. I guess, the wonder trend indi consists of MAs, maybe SMA100 and another SMA, it wouldn't be the first one.

Half Trend Non-repainting

Please be aware this is the shortened version. More about this is explained in this important post by Mladen, here: Half Trend shortened.

What is the Half Trend indicator?

The Half Trend indicator is used for spotting trend changes and price momentum by looking at Highs, Lows, and Moving Averages over a specific timeframe. It uses the ATR (Average True Range) within it's calculation to provide extra validation for when to enter or exit trades.

How it works
  • The original Half Trend calculates trend direction by analyzing price action, specifically the Highest High and Lowest Low over a given period.
  • A Moving Average is then used to smooth the Highs and Lows.
  • If the smoothed High crosses below a key Low price, a Sell signal is generated.
  • If the smoothed Low crosses above a key High price, a Buy signal is generated.
Does the Half Trend indicator repaint?

Most versions available online will repaint. This version, however, will not repaint.

PS: A newer, experimental Half Trend by Moderator Kvak has also been introduced, here: Half Trend Slope.
