Trump sent Radcliff to Moscow to threaten and when that didn’t work Trump sent Witkoff to Moscow to bribe and when that didn’t work Trump then phoned Putin himself, presumably to beg.
Trump really needs a break with the upcoming US midterm elections where the real drop in MAGA support is likely to be realised and no amount of Trump bluster will be able to hide it.
Meanwhile Russia steps up its air campaign against the whole of Ukraine which has no defence left at all. Germany just sent the last of its own older Patriot missiles which is crazy because Germany already told us that the Russians will be heading to Berlin next even though Ukraine is winning the war, err, apparently.
Merz is now trying to tell us that Russia is a direct threat to western Europe and only Ukraine stands in their way, and that western Europe is of no threat to Russia at all. Which is odd considering western Europe is busy at this very moment firing drones directly at Moscow.
The reality is that Merz knows full well that Putin has no wish to come anywhere near western Europe, there is nothing there for them, no resources and impoverished, fractured societies with crippling demographics. If the Russians ever arrived in western Europe they would be expected to take on the responsibility for all of the EU countries pension payments.
Back to Ukraine and a serious escalation in the Russian air campaign is the use of their huge 3000kg FAB glide bombs, as mentioned in earlier posts these do an enormous amount of damage to a target, far more than any drone and even the ballistic missiles that usually carry around 500kg of explosive though they have added kinetic force due to their high impact speed.
The lack of Ukrainian air defence means that the Russian aircraft used to release the FAB bombs can fly closer to target, bringing more Ukrainian cities within reach. Mykolaiv (Ukrainian) or Nikolayev (Russian), which is a historic Industrial & Maritime hub, came under intense FAB attack for the first time the night before last destroying much of the Ukrainian stores used to supply the southern Ukrainian war effort.
And great news, Zelensky has placed an urgent order for 150,000 women's winter battle jackets. Now all those ladies forced into service on the frontline will be looking their best before being pushed into the meat grinder. ‘To the last Ukrainian’ don’t forget, that’s what we in the west are paying for after all.
Speaking of paying, the 90 billion agreed by the EU for Ukraine earlier this year was to last for 2 years. Well Zelensky now tells us he’s desperate for another 60 billion just for this year alone. Probably to pay for all those women’s military uniforms I guess.
But there’s a big new problem on the horizon and that is that winter is coming and western Europe is very short of stored natural gas since Oman stopped exporting it. The open markets are going sky high and Asian countries keep out bidding Europe for the stuff. Zelensky will find the EU money cupboard is getting bare.
Interesting gold story, 60 countries still keep their gold in the US where it was sent before WW2 for safe keeping. But France and the Netherlands just decided to repatriate their gold and more interestingly chose not to wait the 4 years it would take but simply sold their holdings on the US market and immediately re-bought on the European market. It would seem there’s a growing lack of trust in the custodian (the US) and that time is also an issue.

2543You don't need to be sceptical all the time but it can help.
Kaja Kallas is throwing her weight fully behind the move to mobilize women into the army in Ukraine.
It's all about female empowerment and emancipation apparently. Finally women are achieving full equality.
This is the same feminist brainwashing bullshit that convinced 3 generations of western women that being a wage slave was better than being a mother.
The result being that in New York City, the trendsetting capital of the western world, 45% of 45 year old women live alone, no partner, no children, no eggs, and over 70% of them are on long-term antidepressants.
Meanwhile CIA director Radcliffe was telling the world last week that a Russian soldier only lasts 30 minutes on the frontline.
Zelensky tells us that the Russians are dying at the rate of 40 to 1 or something like.
Does that sound realistic when even the Ukrainians admit the Russians have more men, guns, artillery, bombs, missiles, rockets and drones.
The exchange of dead soldiers is 40 Ukrainians to 1 Russian because, the Ukrainians say, the Russians are moving forward and are picking up more bodies. Though the frontline is at a standstill as well apparently. All the while the Russians are actually losing 3 times more dead because they’re the attacking side and that's standard military doctrine that is.
So that clears that up.
If it all sounds like complete bullshit it’s probably because it is.
Turns out that Radcliffe, the head of the CIA with all their resources, was quoting a Telegram social media post that was just made up.
In a time when narrative is in fierce competition with reality it pays to apply the filter of basic common sense to anything you hear and if it sounds a bit suspicious take the time to dig a bit deeper.
Interesting Sunday Times article telling us about Radcliffe’s Moscow visit to issue threats (Putin wouldn't even see him) followed by Witkoff’s Moscow visit to issue bribes followed by Trump’s phone call to Putin with more bribes, all of which got a ‘no’ from the Russians.
Now Radcliffe is telling Trump that he needs to be put in charge of the diplomatic mission in order to get an audience with Putin to issue his threats in person. This would put the CIA in total charge of Project Ukraine. Washington denies the story.
Meanwhile in Zap oblast the Ukrainian army is being driven out of Orikhiv city which is the only defencable position before Zap city itself, only open fields between.
And petrol stations in Kiev have started to be targeted by Russian drones. This was done in Sumy and Kharkiv to encourage civilians to leave the city.

Re: WW3 Countdown
2545The Houthis have effectively blockaded the Red Sea shipping passage while also attacking and shutting down the Saudi oil pipeline to the west coast.
Meanwhile the Iranians have proven it is they who control the Gulf Straits no matter what Trump says.
So now 30% of the global oil supply is disrupted rather than just the 20% before. Diesel is up over $6 a gallon in the US for the first time ever while crude oil is back over $100 a barrel.
Trump keeps telling us plenty of oil is getting past Iran but ship trackers say otherwise.
Seeing ships being loaded and then again once they turn their transponders back on at sea having gone through the Straits shows very few are actually risking it.
And just as Trump is discovering no one believes what he says anymore market manipulator Bessent tells us “I am the house’ (don't bet against the house), but is finding out he's not actually bigger than the Bond market after all as the all important 10 year yield trips 4.9%.
So, all in all, the inflation bomb is still on course to hit the west soon. And same as the great financial crash of 2008 will take years to work its way out of western economies.
Most important though is that there seems to be nothing Trump and Bessent are prepared to do to avert it.
The Trump admin is responsible for keeping both these wars going, only they can shut them down and could do it instantly if they actually wanted.
You have to wonder why they don't.
PS. still on course for all the serfs to be owning nothing and living in pods by 2050.
And Belarus prepares for war. The president has called for a review of the army and plans military drills and a possible mobilisation in the near future.
Kiev authorities have closed 20 major gas stations in the city as the Russians continue their attacks on fuel outlets which is causing major problems for the population and businesses.
A word on Ukraine counter attacks, one of which might be happening in the Lyman area now but nobody knows as the Ukrainians have not released any video at all which in itself is odd.
With such a long frontline it is not too difficult to mount a small-scale offensive by outnumbering the occupying Russian forces in a focal area. The Russians always withdraw when faced with a determined force, it saves Russian lives and also creates a pocket that when Russian reinforcements arrive makes a cauldron.
Because of the Ukraine manpower problem the Ukraine army inevitably finds that though it can initially take land it can’t hang onto it, and so themselves are forced to withdraw. We have seen this play out dozens of times and also note that it is so performative now that the tactic is always timed to a Zelensky trip to raise more money, “look see, we are winning”, before it all collapses after Zelensky is heading home with pockets full.
And the Russian parliament issues a warning that the Oreshnik missile system might be used more frequently in future due to Ukraine’s increasing attacks on Russian civilians.
Interesting public statement given that parliament elections are only just over a week away. I said previously that Putin was looking for a public mandate in the elections for Ukraine conflict escalation and the parliament seems to be of the opinion that it’s going to be coming.
