Trump is losing control across global friction points because nobody believes anything he says anymore.
Gulf states are looking past the US for security, forming new alliances. Israel is keen to keep fanning the flames in the region by squaring up to Turkey. South Korea is furious at the US not only for stripping them of their defence weapons, and not least the Pacific aircraft carrier group being sent to the Gulf, but chiding them for not sending their own meger navy to the Gulf as well. Taiwan is also realising they can’t really rely on the US. And the Europeans are wondering just how secure NATO really is given Trump’s constant threats to leave.
Trump sowing confusion everytime he opens his mouth is not 3D chess or MadMan Theory, it’s just destroying confidence in the US and benefits no one, especially not the US.
And Bessent’s problems continue to mount, not only is he failing to stop countries from selling their US treasuries now he is having problems getting allied nations to buy new ones. 2026 is a big expiry year for treasuries and new debt needs to be issued but there is a very real reluctance to buy.
Total US debt has topped $40 Trillion and yields are up to 2007 levels, another reason Trump is panicking while trying to pretend to be blase. Economic analysts are talking of a crash coming that will be bigger and deeper than that of 2007-2008.
Meanwhile Moscow openly warns the UK about their involvement in Ukraine firing drones and missiles directly into Russia while Ukraine announces their new ballistic missiles will be coming on stream in October.
These 2 stories are related because Moscow knows that Ukraine cannot make ballistic missiles, but the UK can, and just like “Ukraine’s” drones that are really mostly coming from Europe, so any ballistic missiles will also be coming from Europe too.
The idiot leadership in the UK and the EU are starting to realise that Russia might be serious in their threats of retaliation against the UK and Europe especially now that the US has bigger problems elsewhere, not just around the globe but at home and their own economy as well.

Trump is not in charge, he’s just the one being manipulated to be the fall guy (same as Biden was but he went doolally too soon).
The coming energy crisis is a manufactured spark and cover for the inevitable economic crisis. Western debt is at astronomic levels while earnings are in decades long decline. Bond markets are teetering on the edge of collapse and when they do will cause interest rate increases that will take loan repayments beyond the ability to pay and defaulting countries will collapse into depression.
This scenario is not new, it’s been seen many times throughout history. What’s the solution?
Western governments need to cut spending, how much depends on how long they have been avoiding the problem.
But cutting spending is the one thing that governments are absolutely not doing.
The next best solution to stave off debt defaulting is war. Attack a resource rich neighbour and take over their resources, simple.
Well we are trying and it’s not bloody well working. Those bloody Russians are proving too strong and now these bloody Iranians won’t just surrender like they were supposed to. The only one we got was Venezuela but that’s nothing to boast about, they were dirt poor to start with and their oil is thick as tar and bloody near useless.
So what’s the third best solution? At this late stage there isn’t one. A drastic cut in spending will be forced on countries.
What comes next when a country defaults on its debt is economic and social collapse, then a Great Reset, fortunately a small group of western oligarchics, who are smarter than our current bunch of politicians, have already been planning for this and they even published their plans online so it’s absolutely no secret.
Their version of a great reset is a return to serfdom for the majority and authoritarian rule for a small select minority. No democracy, no middle class, no ownership of goods by the serfs who will be living in pods in 15 minute cities, and according to the plan they WILL be happy, apparently.
PANIC: USA Orders Bond Buyers NOT TO SELL as Bessent Demands China DUMP Iran

(Bloomberg) -- President Donald Trump made more than 1,000 securities trades in June, including significant purchases of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., Visa Inc., Mastercard Inc. and Cintas Corp., according to a financial disclosure published Saturday.
The transactions totaled between $78.1 million and $263.1 million in the filing published by the US Office of Government Ethics, which shows a range for each transaction rather than exact numbers.
The largest transaction was a June 22 sale of between $5 million and $25 million of shares in a Vanguard Group Inc. exchange-traded fund.
Trump made more than 21,000 securities trades in 2025, often in bursts tied to market events he created. The total value of the trades he made in 2025 was between $600 million and $1.86 billion, occasionally showing buying and selling of the same security on the same day.
The White House says there are no conflicts of interest because Trump's investments are independently managed. Trump's son Eric, the executive vice president of the Trump Organization, has said the assets were in a blind trust.

Bessent said the US was to double its Bond buy back scheme in an effort to steady the market and stop the rise of the 10 year Treasury yield which was fast approaching 5%.
The yield did drop back on the news but only for a day or 2. Bond buy back is like QE. Printing money for the government to prop up the bond market is a tough job.
Bessent increased the buy back from $2 billion to $4 billion and said he was willing to ‘do what it takes’ but remember the US debt market is $40 Trillion.
Compared that to the $3 Trillion crude oil market.
He's just not going to be able to manipulate the bond market like the oil market.
Gold sold off after the start of the Iran war as many countries suddenly had a cash flow problem but has recently turned upwards again as more central banks see a need to increase Gold holdings for an increasingly uncertain future at the same time as they lose confidence in US Treasures.
Oil is on the rise again having been beaten down to $73 for WTI and is now around $85 as there is a stand off in the Iran war. Trump has nothing up his sleeve and does not seem able to just walk away. The Iranians are meanwhile threatening to take the initiative and attack rather than just retaliate.
Trump tells us that he has opened the Straits and everything is fine but no one believes shipping is anywhere near pre-war levels.
To Ukraine, and Brazil are attempting to get Putin to talk to the Ukrainians. The Ukrainians are getting desperate to get the air strikes to stop, especially the ones that have stopped all shipping in and out of Odessa. All of Ukraine’s major trade income has ceased and big weapons shipments have halted, individual missiles (those that they can find to buy) are now being transported across borders individually in the back of SUVs.
Zelensky, besides using Brazil to contact the Russians, has tried to make direct contact but got nowhere. Putin made clear in recent speeches that any kind of a ceasefire is out of the question and Russia’s demands are on the table for all to see.

Another $27 billion needed urgently.
Talk of women to be drafted.
There are no longer enough able men left in Ukraine to drag off the streets to send to their deaths on the frontline so Ukraine may now open the draft to women.
Expect your call up papers any day ladies, you too could be on the frontline by the end of the week.
US envoy Kellogg told reporters yesterday that Ukraine really needed women on the frontline, European dignitaries were also in town for the Ukraine national day celebrations but I didn’t hear a word of concern from any of them.
Presumably then it really is to be ‘to the last Ukrainian’ and all that.
Meanwhile Zelensky tells us he had to spend the entire year's defence budget of $27 Billion in the first 6 months and now desperately needs another $27 Billion just to get through the rest of this year.
Translation; ‘We know this grift is coming to an end and are going to wring it for all it’s worth you suckers’.
But where did the $27 billion go? Hark back to the dispute between the then defence minister Fedorov and army chief Syrsky.
Fedorov was spending the money on drones even at the expense of army wages. The drones were coming from Europe who were buying from China and all done via the Ukrainian company Firepoint.
The European leadership was supporting Fedorov and his buying of drones from Europe but in the end Zelensky had to sack both Fedorov and Skrsky and another great European wide money making scam came to an end.
And so now Zelensky needs another $27 billion from European tax payers to cover the lost money that went to corrupt European and Ukrainian companies.
Of course the European leadership were constantly going on about how successful the drone campaign was even though it demonstrably wasn’t, all it actually did was add to the global diesel shortage.
And the US media are telling us now that even though Ukraine is winning there really needs to be a ceasefire and a withdrawal from the frontlines and peacekeepers put in place. These are the proposals put forward to which Putin said were out of the question as I reported in yesterday's post.
But this just shows the level of delusion of the western leadership, they really do believe everything Zelensky tells them while they close their eyes to everything else, it’s nothing short of astonishing.
Russia is blatantly on the verge of taking the whole of the Donbas and the morons think that Putin will just back down now. It is totally incomprehensible.
