Zelensky tells the US he needs 5% of US Patriot air defence missile stocks for the summer or 10% for summer and the coming winter.

That’s going to be a problem because Trump is looking like he’s going to be hanging around the Gulf for a while yet.

Zelensky is also coming out with a stream of ceasefire or truce proposals, the latest one is for a truce in the Black sea because Zelensky can’t get his grain exports out and harvest is due, neither can he get his military equipment, missiles and ammunition in, all of his big shipments used to come by sea

The Russian blockade will cost Ukraine $50 Billion in grain, coal and steel exports so get ready for a new round of Zelensky doing the rounds banging his begging bowl again.

Of course he’s not actually offering Putin anything in return for stopping the Odessa blockade, there’s just the wish that the Russians stop. Not sure why he thinks Putin will agree other than good old fashion delusion and predictably Russia has just said no thanks to Zelensky’s Black sea truce on Friday.

There is now talk in UK newspapers that the UK government has been trying to get a meeting with the Russians over Putin’s latest threat to seize UK ships in the North Pacific sea route if NATO countries don’t stop seizing Russian ships. The Daily Telegraph tells us that the Royal navy no longer has the reach to protect UK shipping in the pacific, and so perhaps a UK climb down is in the offering.

And the Russians continue to tell the world that Witkoff and Kushner are still welcome to come to Moscow and talk peace anytime they want but that that must be bringing actual offers rather than to just repeat the same old NATO bs that Russia really needs to surrender first for there to be peace, if that’s the case then there is still no reason to give them entry visas.

The Iranians see that Trump is not going to back down and is going to play a game of an on again off again war on a monthly basis in order to restock his missile supply, missiles being the only weapon the US has that can actually hit Iran.

And so the Iranians are considering going from the retaliatory stance to a more proactive one where they attack during the US restock down-time. This would force the US to be the ones to be retaliatory and need to be constantly firing whatever missiles they can find.

The Iranians are showing every sign that they know they are in control and that short of nukes there is nothing Trump can do about it.

Meanwhile Trump is sending out another aircraft carrier presumably to relieve one that is already there. There are reports of suicides of US sailors due to the poor conditions aboard the US ships in the Gulf. Those there since the start have already been aboard without any kind of shore leave far longer than was the case even in the Pacific during WW2.

Zokrem, “Soyuz-2.1b” is launched before the Russian satellite constellation “Rassvet” is launched – a system of wide-angle satellite communications, which Russia positions as an analogue of Starlink.
Also, the Progress RSC vibrates space equipment for remote sensing of the Earth, as the enemy engages with a reconnaissance weapon.
The level of the fillings is being specified.
In addition, the Savasleyka airfield near the Nizhny Novgorod region of the Russian Federation was hit. A further burning incident was recorded on the territory of the airfield.
ℹ️ AE “Savasleyka” is being used, for the sake of basing and stagnation of the MiG-31K mig-31k aeroballistic missile carriers X-47M2 “Kinjal”.
Work on the enemy’s key military and military-industrial goals is troubling.

The Great Reset is coming. Trump looks set on keeping the 2 wars going for as long as possible in order to cripple China, which it will - eventually, maybe.

It’s a 2 pronged attack to knock China out of the game and restore US hegemony. Starve the world of oil, or at least those counties most dependent on imported oil, and so cripple their economies.

Cripple China’s ability to manufacture export goods and cripple China’s customers of the ability to buy those goods.

Of course there will be collateral damage, the whole of western Europe and most of the US allies in Asia for instance, but you can’t maintain global dominance without breaking a few eggs, and that’s what vassals are for after all.

So buckle up for a surge in deindustrialisation, collapsing economies, market crashes, business bankruptcies and mass unemployment.

There will be hardship even in the US but it will all be worth it in the end (for the western oligarchy, not the people obviously).

The US will still have its own oil supply as well as imports from Canada and Venezuela, in time manufacturing jobs will return to the US and all will be well again, in about a decade or 2.

Russian troops are just 4km from Kromatosk and in Zap oblast are currently storming Orikhiv.

Meanwhile Ukraine is using over 1,000 drones a night to try to destroy Russian Amazon type company warehouses, but drone target hit rate is less than 1% according to Ukraine sources.

The slow Ukrainian drones are countered by machine gun mounted vehicles using AI targeting supplied with data by AWACs aircraft. Which is just 1 of the layers of a multi-layered and interconnected air defense system that is also shooting down nearly all the cruise missiles Ukraine is able to muster.

All of such missile types have already been identified by the Russians and effective counter measures established. The only one they haven't seen yet is the German Taurus cruise missiles which has still not been made available to the Ukrainians.

The Russians meanwhile are now firing turbo-jet powered Shahed drones 70 at a time that fly faster and higher than the old propeller driven drones which means they can out run Ukrainian gun trucks, helicopters and interceptor drones that were typically used to target the old Shaheds.

The main story being that the Ukrainians now can’t shoot down anything the Russians are sending over except the few old drone types they might still use. Which is why the Ukrainians are now risking their fighter aircraft (MiG 29s and F-16s) to try to stop the drones.

Essentially now every Russian drone and missile is hitting its target while the Ukrainian strike rate is less than 1%.

"Now for the results of our sample. To put it mildly, they’re disappointing:

🔴~1,400 drones (≈93%) were shot down at the 1st and 2nd air defense lines in the region.
🔴~100 drones (≈6%) were shot down within the 3rd defense line (the MKAD ring).
🔴Within Moscow itself — a grand total of 1 (0.07%). One. A single drone."

Back to the global economy and crude oil prices still hovering around $80 but there is a big problem, the only consumers of crude oil are refineries and the prices of products produced by refineries are going through the roof.

Diesel market prices are between 60% and 80% higher since the start of the Iran conflict, marine oil fuel is not much better, and consider that with the Suez canal effectively shut down ships now must go the long way around Africa to get to Europe and the US.

So continued increasing inflation for the foreseeable future while Gold looks to have halted the 2026 decline and is climbing again.

when inflation blows up western economies? Some are saying when US gas at the pumps reaches $6 a gallon and everyone will need to cut back hard (demand destruction), or on gas rationing because the oil reserve caverns are empty maybe.

Trump seems to think that the US is isolated from the rest of the world but it is not.

In the US there is already talk of too high food prices and as it gets worse people will take to the streets demanding someone does something, enter the authoritarians to solve the problems they created. The price will be to give up democracy.

Americans aren’t concerned that a country with a population of 100 million is dancing on US flags, developing intercontinental missiles, amassing nuclear capabilities, and expelling observers?

Meanwhile, even Russia can’t cover its strategic bombers with camouflage netting. So that satellites can always see them.
