694EU CPI, Trump trial;
2 short videos on Trump trial. The first discusses Cohen's cross examination yesterday where he confirmed his reputation as a liar by being caught out lying right there in front of the jury - multiple times. Fox report includes clips from CNN voicing their dismay at this unexpected turnaround - er.
2nd vid on the possibility the Defence will only call 1 witness, Costello, who reports Cohen told him many times he 'had nothing on Trump' at all.
The only thing this trial has made clear is that Cohen is an extortionist who targeted Trump when Trump didn't take him to the White House in 2016. Working with Daniels, or alone, they have both made a multimillion $ industry with tik-tok vids and book deals lying about Trump.
But reminder that the jury is 87% democrat voters so ... .

699Trump trial news;
To recap the Trump trials; The Jack Straw prosecuting case is on indefinite hold. Straw admitted he tampered with evidence, he was the one who paper clipped all the 'TOP SECRET' cover sheets to the front of the not top secret folders found at Trump's home.
The Fani Willis and Wade prosecuting case is on hold as Willis & Wade are being investigated for misappropriation of funds. Over $2 million has gone through her office some of which went on luxury cruise holidays for the pair plus she authorised near a million dollars in payments to him which is apparently way over his pay grade.
And then the Bragg prosecuting case which resumes Monday. The case is about Trump having an affair with Stormy Daniels (not illegal) and then paying her money for a non disclosure agreement (also not illegal). The prosecution claim the money to pay Daniels came out of the election fund account and not his personal account and so could be election interference (a big stretch).
But it turns out Trump didn't pay at all, his fixer/lawyer Cohen did. Though Trump paid Cohen a retainer fee and expenses Cohen said he took out a loan to pay Daniels himself because he wanted Trump to be owing to him and would take him to Washington which would set Cohen up for life.
But Trump didn't take him so Cohen, in revenge, agreed to be the prosecution's star witness and testify he called Trump to confirm the Daniel's payment had been completed. For some reason the prosecutors didn't check to see if the known liar was lying, he was. Cohen did call the White house as he said but it was to speak to security to ask them if they would deal with a 14 year old prank caller who was harassing him.
This comedy gold case resumes Monday, many judges and lawyers appearing on TV are expecting the case to be thrown out on Monday. The Stormy Daniels testimony was her 7th different version of the affair story released to the public and, by the way, had nothing to do with the book keeping case at all. And Cohen has already been caught out lying directly to the jury multiple times, just once would normally lead the judge to instruct the Jury to dismiss all his testimony.
But nothing about any of these trials is normal.
