As expected the pro-Ukraine western press go for Russia done the dam, no evidence needed, while what evidence there is points to Ukraine.

After just 2 days of Ukraine's counteroffensive they knew they're in trouble, 1000 a day dead or wounded and their 50,000 force is halved in 25 days and in need of retreat and re-forming. On top of that they were not even able to breakthrough Russia's 1st line of defence let alone the 3rd.

Once the counteroffensive fails Zelensky is on his own and he knows it. After the dam what next for the desperado? The nuclear power plant?

WaPo’s Report From December About Kiev’s Plans To Blow Up The Kakhovka Dam


Major General Andrey Kovalchuk admitted to the Washington Post last December that his side had previously planned to blow up part of the Kakhovka Dam as part of its Kherson Counteroffensive. It therefore seemed unthinkable that Kiev would ultimately do just that over half a year later and then gaslight that Moscow was to blame when the Mainstream Media itself earlier reported the existence of Ukraine’s terrorist plans after quoting the same official who bragged about them.

His remark about how “the step remained a last resort” is pertinent to recall at present considering that the first phase of Kiev’s NATO–backed counteroffensive completely failed on Monday according to the Russian Ministry of Defense.
