Re: WW3 Countdown

2 very important videos below explaining exactly how the US lost this war in Iran and, as an even more important consequence, has dramatically weakened itself militarily for literally years to come and no amount of Trump bluster and bullshit can detract from this new reality.

The whole world sees it.

Russia and Iran are winning because neither got caught up in the neoliberal trap that has captured the entire western world.

Russia carried over from Soviet times the need for, and importance of, having redundancy built into every production process for times when a heavy and urgent surge was needed. The western world went all-in for ‘just in time’ supply processes that now have ‘lead times’ measured in years if extraordinary demand was suddenly needed.

Iran, under sanctions for nearly half a century developed production methods that had a do what you can whenever you can ideology and stockpile for the great war coming to break out of the vice of sanctions they were caught in.

At some point these clowns who rule over us will be forced to recognise reality but only a long time after their persistent delusions have made bad mistakes much, much worse.

Why has the US had to beg for peace with Iran?

Re: WW3 Countdown

Great news, the US bases in the Gulf had excellent protection against IEDs (improvised explosive devices).

Bad news, they had absolutely zero defence against drones.

If only there could have been some warning, if only someone had said something.

More great news, US weapons manufacturers are now making nearly as many Patriot air defence missiles as Ferrari are making cars, well done the lads.

Bad news, Patriot missiles are being used up at 100 times the production rate and stocks are running out.

Anyway, back to the comedy and the peace talks broke up without agreement.

Trump is adamant it doesn't matter because the US already won.

There's just those small, pesky insignificant details left like Iran making nuclear bombs and the Straits being closed.

During the ceasefire Trump ordered 2 US navy ships to sail through the Straits but the PR stunt was rather spoiled by Iran telling them that if they didn't fuck off immediately they would be sunk, and so they did.

Iran is now commanding the US navy and Trump is taking lessons in how to do PR stunts from Zelensky - ffs.

It seems that Trump sent Vance into the peace talks making demands so the Iranians just walked away.

What the US should have done was say they will lift sanctions and release Iranian frozen assets so long as Iran follows the guidance of Russia and China with regards to nuclear development and the navigation of shipping through the Straits.

Obviously Russia and China want to see a return to the status quo, both want free passage through international waters and both do want nuclear non proliferation, most importantly, Iran will actually listen to them.

But so long as Trump keeps trumpeting the blatant bullshit that he's won some great victory then nothing is going to happen and the war will continue.

If only Trump would just shut the fuck up for 5 minutes this crisis (that he caused) could be resolved relatively quickly and easily but everytime he opens his mouth he just digs the US in deeper.

Most commentators suspect now that Iran has been husbanding its missile and drone use to be within their production rates while the US (and therefore Israel) have nearly expended their entire stockpile which will leave the US seriously weakened if not completely incapacitated for literally years to come.

This war has been an unbelievable miscalculation by the US neocons (again) and the Trump team, made worse by a refusal to recognise reality at any stage and a determination to double down on every error at every turn.

And don't forget the Dems are still 100% behind this nonsense, the announcement of hostilities 5 weeks ago was the first and only time Trump got full applause from the entire house.

Now desperate former US allies in Asia are flocking to China and Russia to try and mitigate the damage caused by the global energy crisis while in the US they’re looking to spend a trillion on an even bigger WW2 style military - so really everything’s just fine.

Trump escalates to close the already closed Straits.

Brilliant, except for a couple of tiny snags.

Some might quibble and point out that to actually escalate you must do the escalatory thing BEFORE the other side has already done it and not after.

Otherwise you're not really escalating but really just playing catch up and proving you're not winning but actually coming second.

Bless him, Trump is trying his best in very difficult circumstances. He declared himself the winner having already lost and that’s a hard act to maintain no mistake.

The second snag is that nothing smells of loser desperation quite like suddenly completely reversing your strategy.

So now instead of trying to keep as much oil flowing as possible in order to keep the oil price from reaching global economy melting highs, Trump is now encouraging the price of oil to sky rocket.

But how will that even help the US exactly?

In a stupid act of desperation he's now trying to encourage the fuse he lit to burn faster having first been trying to make it burn slower. Of course he must know by now he should never have lit it in the first place.

And so now he really has his work cut out for himself trying to justify plunging the world into a deep economic depression probably lasting a decade all for the sake of him avoiding having to admit he was wrong.

As before, all Iran needs to do is to just hold on and let time take its course, at some point the entire world will come down on Trump and the US but by then the damage will be done, not to Iran so much as to Trump and the US’s reputation which will be sunk never to recover.

China and Russia will have Iran’s back in future rebuilding for the spectacular benefit this major diversion is giving them and the lessons being taught to a not so great after all USA.

Geopolitically this has been a disaster for the US, three quarters of countries around the world must be thinking about who they should be aligned to in future, the US or China and Russia.

Funny story, last week Starmer said the UK needed to stop Russian tankers sailing past the UK. But a few days later when a tanker sailed past with an escorting Russian navy destroyer the British navy were nowhere to be seen 🤔

I wonder what Pirate Trump will do if China decides to escort their tankers?

The bottom line is that there is still no path to victory for Trump, there never was, and the whole world will suffer for it because Trump's not man enough to own the mistake.

And still not a whisper from congress, I’ve forgotten what their actual job is, besides making millions from insider trading that is.

And in Ukraine and the Russians are awakening after an operational pause after the spring melt and Easter holiday as they have done for the last 2 years and are ready for their Spring offensive and when the biggest battles were between drone teams trying to clear the skies of opposition drones.

But there is confusion where they will strike, some say Zaporizhzhia, others say Slovyansk, both just 15 km from the front, why can’t the Russians be like the Ukrainians and just say in advance?

The Russian pause has of course led US TV Generals to tell us that Ukraine is actually winning meanwhile a Ukrainian MP has told us that Ukraine should enlist the million and a half draft dodgers to support the 100,000 currently on the front line, err wait, just 100,000?

Anyway, another recent body exchange, same as usual, 1000 Ukrainian for 40 Russian.

Since it has come to war Russia is by force carrying out the aim of protecting the Russian speakers of east Ukraine, reminder that to this day Zelensky has still not repealed the law made after the 2014 coup allowing discrimination against Russian speakers within Ukraine.

West Ukraine is very anti-Russian and Russia has no interest taking it over but has mentioned a possible return to Russia of the areas in pink and Crimea in the map below.

The problem for west Ukraine is that it's not rich enough to support itself and may end up being swallowed by Poland and Romania who have controlled the region at various times in the past.

Ho hum, has there ever been a day when we haven’t been waiting on a Trump deadline?

Trump’s big problem when it comes to geopolitical negotiations is that by now everyone has read ‘The Art of the Deal’ and as it turns out that’s Trump’s only card.

So Trump goes into every negotiation full of bullshit, bluster and threats and maybe the other side will just capitulate but if not you’re still left with them trying to knock your demands downwards as opposed to you trying to raise theirs upwards.

The whole world knows by now that the simple counter is just to wait it out and eventually Trump will need to lower his demands on his own, hence ‘Trump always chickens out’ (taco).

Trump, in response to Iran's intransigence, is now just trying to hold out for longer but is just making his own position worse.

So when this nonsense blockade just encourages China and Russia and India and every other country on the planet to turn on Trump (not Iran), then presumably the adults in the US will be forced to act.

Meanwhile Trump’s threat to continue bombing Iran if Iran doesn’t capitulate is hollow, the US has already destroyed all above ground military targets and it has been revealed that Iran's below ground missile and drone production and launch facilities were designed to withstand a nuclear attack.

So that just leaves attacks on Iran’s civilian population and I think it likely that China and Russia have indicated if that really does happen (Trump tries to wipe out a civilisation) then they will step in. It would be a relatively low risk opportunity for them to demonstrate a willingness to act in concert and show the whole world their own rising power and highlight US decline.

The US would feel obliged to stand up to either individually but should hesitate to think they could take on both together (or at least I would hope they’re smart enough to see it).

But there is still hope for the peace talks, as Scott Ritter suggests in the video below, Vance went to the talks in Pakistan because it was Trump who asked for them and said he was willing to discuss Iran’s 10 point plan rather than the US 15 point plan.

But once Vance had done all the hard work Trump shifted the goalposts shutting down the talks because Vance was never going to be allowed to be seen as the one who brought peace, Trump is saving that accolade for himself and so can present the Vance package as the Trump package and a win for himself later on.

Iran will keep the right to process nuclear material for civilian use and Trump can say ‘ah, but they’re not making a bomb so I win’.

Could be true, wait and see.
