"Only the price on the chart can show the entrance to the deal..."
Trump announces a deal on Friday before market weekly close which is not as per his normal script, normally it’s bad news Friday good news Monday. Also different is that Iran also announced that they are unblocking the Straits for the 10 day Israel/Lebanon ceasefire.
Trump announced that Iran was unblocking the Straits for good, and forever (that’s never going to happen).
Trump also announced that Iran has agreed to transfer all their nuke dust (dust because it was bombed to smithereens by Trump, get it) to the US (that's not going to happen either).
Iran says that no nuclear material will be moved out of Iran, ever.
Trump is either getting his agreements from the person he sees in the mirror or he’s just telling the Pakistani mediators what he wants and takes that as read that that is automatically agreed to by the Iranians, hard to say which.
For about the 64th time ‘President Donald Trump claims a final deal is "very close" and has projected a major diplomatic victory', presumably that’s what the guy in the mirror told him.
Anyway, oil dropped 10% on the news but presumably due to the confusion very few tankers are actually sailing through the Straits.
Iran says they are unblocking their very effective blockade of the Straits while Trump says he is NOT unblocking the Straits.
All those trapped ships would be sailing on word that Iran had opened the Straits alone. Why did Trump cause the confusion? Why is he even bothering to pretend that he is actually the one controlling the Straits? (Hint; it’s the narcissism).
Trump does actually want to control the Straits himself, he wants to control all 4 global trade ‘choke points’ (Hormuz, Panama, Suez and Malacca), the US arguably already has de facto control of 2.
Meanwhile, without any shipments at all “European airlines have warned they may have only six weeks of jet fuel left if the Gulf supplies remain blocked”
And leaked UK government documents from The Times suggest contingency planning ("Exercise Turnstone") ‘for potential supermarket shortages of chicken, pork, and fizzy drinks this summer due to CO2 supply issues linked to the war’.
And there still remains the possibility of a heavy military Trump punch coming, there’s a very real possibility that negotiations for this ‘deal’ is just another delaying pause before another new US attempt to cripple Iran (err, this time it’ll work for sure) which would presumably have to be the use of the ground troops whose transport ship arrives in the region early this coming week.
It will be another disaster but by this stage no one in the Trump admin is thinking straight.
On a different topic just noted this thread now has over 500 reads a day (averaged over its 3 year duration), a big increase in the last couple of months when I checked after someone said only 2 people were interested in it and it should be shut down (actually it was around 320 or so).
Bet you never knew so many people were so interested in Fishy’s re-posts of Zelensky’s made up data on Russian losses.

There can be no doubt that Trump has declining mental capacity, he would not have made the same stream of mistakes in his first term as he’s doing now.
And his post, which said that Iran had agreed to open the Straits and promised never to close them ever, ever again (obviously a lie), oh and by the way the US blockade remains in place, was beyond stupid.
To no one's surprise but Trump's, the Iranians immediately closed the Straits again.
Trump, from the start of this war has been in bullshit over-drive, the more so because the Iranians keep calling him out. The crazy part is that Trump still doesn’t get it. Trump doesn’t hold any cards at all, Iran holds all the cards so Trump’s constant bullshitting is falling on deaf ears.
Part of the problem is that Trump is now completely cocooned by yes-men arse-lickers who give all Trump’s demented ideas the thumbs up and help things along by adding a few mentally deficient ideas of their own.
The excruciating thing is that there has been a deal to be done all along and the Iranians are scratching their heads trying to figure out why Trump can’t see it, maybe if they got one of those big neon flashing arrow signs to point at it.
The deal is basically along the lines of the deal the Iranians agreed to just before the US started the war, the deal was not taken then because Netanyhu wanted Iran completely destroyed and fooled Trump into thinking it could be done in 3 days.
Trump took the bait hook, line, sinker and copy of the Angling Times. And then he was trapped and where he remains until he actually negotiates instead of bullshitting.
Trump can get a commitment from the Iranians not to produce nuclear weapons and no processing of nuclear material for 5 years (because Iran already has enough for civilian use for that length of time but don’t tell anyone that).
And the regime HAS been changed, Trump killed off all the moderates who’ve now all been replaced by hardliners, so there.
Iran will agree to open the Straits for a return of the frozen assets and sanctions relief, the sanctions made by executive order Trump can remove immediately, the ones imposed by Congress are a different matter but the Iranians know this.
And finally, a long term peace deal for the Gulf. That will take some sorting but the Iranians will keep the Straits open for the duration as an act of good faith.
That is basically it, all the other small stuff added on as threats after the war was started from both sides can be dismissed.
Trump will have to spin it as a win as best he can and will also have to keep Netanyhu in check, all possible.
And don’t forget the US Navy ship carrying more US troops is arriving in the region early this coming week.
Trump has already set in motion a global recession that could have been avoided if he acted sooner but to avoid a decade long global depression he must act now.
Such a shame that all this also helps along the globalist elites long term plan to deindustrialise and impoverish the west in order to pave the way for a new authoritarian future with a new monetary system (digital) and new methods of civil control (digital), oh well what a pity never mind.
Iran Attacks Ships! Strait Is Re-Closed! Trump MELTS DOWN!

This iran war aint gonna end is it..
Soon enough sharp inflation will hit the US (weeks not months). God knows why Congress is doing nothing but internal US pressure will start to build.
At the moment world leaders know if they stand up individually Trump will just fire off tariffs and sanctions at them but eventually global and internal pressure will force Trump to move.
Iran, under sanctions for the last 40 years, is not going to suffer much if the world is thrown into a 1930s type depression but everyone else will. We are already looking at a global recession but Trump must know if this doesn't end soon his legacy will be as the one who caused a global depression that will last a decade.
But Trump may well be looking to a final big play with ground troops as a final roll of the dice, and when that fails as it must, the end will be near but that could still be a couple of weeks away.
