1.Actually, so far I’ve tested no fewer than 3,000 to 4,000 indicators—maybe even over 5,000 by now! I’ve seen all kinds: ones that repaint, lag, or just sit there like duds doing nothing. There are even ones where following the signals always makes you trade the opposite way… the list goes on and on.
2.At first, I used to spend money on paid sites to buy indicators, recharging hundreds or thousands (of my currency) at a time. But let’s be real—I got scammed more often than not. Those indicators were basically useless.
3..Then I found this forum, plus a few others where pros share stuff for free. I checked them all out and downloaded quite a few indicators from those places. But this forum’s by far the best. First off, there’s a group of genius coders here. They actually care about helping people, don’t want anyone to waste time on wrong paths, stick with the community, and share knowledge selflessly. Sure, I’ve seen them hit a few snags now and then, but they always fix things later.
4.I’m not a comp sci major—my background’s in biochemistry and molecular biology. Not knowing how to code is my weak spot. Right now, the only coding I can handle is for Tongda Xing (a Chinese trading platform): I can read its scripts, and occasionally write simple ones. And I taught myself all that! Oh, and this forum account is my boyfriend’s—my real name’s Kelly. Super glad to meet everyone here. This place crosses borders, it’s like a total private safe space.
5.I’m not bragging when I say I’ve tested so many indicators. I once tried to test over 1,500 MT4 indicators in one night, but I couldn’t pull it off. Even with sneaking in time during work, it took me about 4 or 5 days. Basically, I’d load an indicator up, set it to the 1-minute timeframe, watch it for half a day, and I could tell if it repainted. I’ll keep the ones with “legitimate” repainting to observe more, but the ones that are just pure nonsense—total random repainting? I delete those right away. That’s my testing routine. I’m really serious and persistent about things. Though I do love shopping, buying nice clothes, chatting with my girls, hitting up bars… you know, normal stuff!
6.For the past year or so, I’ve been putting more energy into testing these indicators. I’ve been staying up late, and I think I’m even losing some hair. I know I should sleep earlier. Some nights I don’t hit the pillow till 3 AM, then have to get up at 8 AM. This level of obsession isn’t good—I need to be nicer to myself. But then I found the SMC indicator, and it totally changed my perspective. Since I use MT5 to trade domestic futures, that’s why I was asking the pros here to help me get an MT5 version. So if any of you experts passing by have the time to convert it, it’d be such a big help for anyone here who needs it too. Maybe they’re just like me—still searching for a “lighthouse” to guide them through the endless sea of indicators.

I commend you on your dedication and persistence, but would it not be more prudent and fruitful to focus on trading rather than trying to find the "Holy Grail" indicator? Study and learn how the market moves - Supply and Demand, Support and Resistance, Volume/Market Profiles, Market Structure.

Learning these first will give you the sound framework to begin trading, and then you can search for an indicator or two to assist you in your trading decisions. Indicators will always lag, repainting or non-repainting.

So, refocus your energy on trading and making money.

You sound so nice, man—total gentleman! Thanks for the tips! You’re right—I shouldn’t fixate on the “Holy Grail” indicator. It’s way more practical to master supply/demand and market structure first. Really learned a lot here, appreciate it!

Sorry, I couldn’t find a similar indicator for MT5, nor do I have the source code. However, you can check the MQL5 marketplace there are some free SMC indicators available for MT5.

I wasn't trying to be rude, I apologize but I did find the post funny because from the outside it looks like you are jumping around onto so many different ideas. At least, please test several strategies and indicators for a few weeks first before going crazy on requests.
