Interesting updates from Eastern Europe. Putin has signed a decree to allow the Russian army to increase in size by 1 million taking the army up to 2.5 million though there is no actual mobilisation as yet.

And we see why the EU is panicking. Having agreed € 90 billion for Ukraine over 2 years they find out that after 6 months Zelensky will run out of money to pay his soldiers within weeks.

Which is why there are suddenly renewed efforts by the EU to steal the Russian frozen assets. They are seeking to get all the EU countries instead of just Belgium to shoulder the financial fallout when the Russians take them to court and win but even spread out over 27 countries €200 billion will be hard to swallow given the EU is in a dire financial situation.

Coming into winter and with only the US to supply natural gas the big EU countries only have around 100 days of reserves except the UK which has a lot less. Note that Trump is already thinking of a diesel export ban and a gas one might not be far behind.

Meanwhile the people in Europe are waking up to see this great 25 year globalist neoliberal experiment has led to nothing but deindustrialisation and financial ruin while our streets are overrun with illegal migrants who are unable to read and write in their native language let alone the country they landed in.

But one thing you can rely on is that the neolibs will never admit they got it all wrong, they will always double down so get ready for a war with Russia.

In the Ukraine conflict proper and the Russians are increasingly targeting important infrastructure in the center of Ukrainian cities showing improving targeting likely due to the Russian analogue of Starlink internet communication allowing drone operators to guide their jet powered drones which are now more akin to cruise missiles right up to the target building.

TV stations, internet providers, data centres, comm towers and goods warehouses are all being systematically destroyed while there is no air defence even for Kiev.

As I have said repeatedly, this war should have ended at least 2 years ago but our glorious western leaders wanted to see just how far they could force the issue and this is where we get to. The Russians are, understandably, no longer interested in any kind of negotiation and will take half of Ukraine leaving a non-functional rump state that will be divided up by Poland and Romania.

Interesting film footage came out recently of 20-30 Columbian troops fighting for Ukraine staging a literal human wave attack over open ground towards Russian positions, desperate times indeed.

Why war? Because it’s a last ditch attempt by the EU and the US to save the EU org and NATO org and US hegemony.

The EU and NATO served a purpose in their time but when their usefulness disappeared (free trade throughout Europe and collapse of communist Soviet Union) they embarked on expansionism as their sole reason for being.

At the same time the EU and US grew massive debts under US hegemony and the benefits associated with running the global systems like the US $ as reserve currency, and the Eurodollar system, and the Petrodollar system, and the global interbanking system. The rest of the world using these convenient systems was reason for them to hold western debt.

When the west started weaponising these systems other countries sought a way out building alternative institutions decreasing the need to hold US dollars and EU Euros in the form of interest paying US and EU treasuries/bonds.

Back in the day western people were keen to show the advantages of social freedom in a world heavy with communism and religious authoritarianism.

They set an example and the world followed and billions were lifted out of poverty as a result. The US became an icon and world leader which offered them the opportunity to borrow heavily and spend more than they made, allowing a better lifestyle than they could actually afford.

The world converting from hegemony to multipolarity would not need be an unsurmountable hurdle apart from the enormous debt that will come due for the US and western Europe, hence the struggle to avoid that outcome.
