Trump agrees MoU with Iran to reopen the Straits.

The Memorandum of Understanding was agreed according to Trump in social media post.

The agreement is initially to open the Straits immediately by both Iran and the US to end their respective blockades.

There’s a lack of clarity in the reporting so far but in essence the MoU looks to be something of a surrender by Trump (but better than continuing the war). And never mind that Hegseth and Trump already told us 5 times over that the US already won. As I pointed out earlier there simply were no real military options left open to Trump in spite of all the BS.

Iran can and will re-establish their blockade if there is no agreement reached on other issues though most of the major issues seem to have been addressed though not announced.

Trump has agreed to remove US bases in the Gulf, at least partially. Trump will also give extensive sanctions relief. Israeli news is reporting that no frozen assets will be released to Iran initially.

Iran looks to have given some ground on the nuclear materials issue and will stop the tolls on shipping.

Still awaiting proper news updates. Next to no reporting on the Oreshnik missile strike as yet though there is 1 video posted.

Meanwhile, as the Iran war has been costing the US 1 billion a day, increased oil prices and the relaxation of sanctions on Russia means Russia is making an extra 1 billion a day.
