I am on 5 min Entry time frame and I analyse higher time frames (H4, D1) in order to find frameworks and bias trends to enter the trade. You can access the ATS video library here in this link : post1295521363.html#p1295521363

It was NEVER released for MT5, so if you need it badly, consider investing in it for TradingView.

Show the author some appreciation and buy his work.
Otherwise, simply continue using ATS 6 for MT4

A friend introduced me to this strategy/framework about 2 years ago, but I was never able to load the indicator in my Forex Simulator for backtesting, so I mostly set it aside and only experimented with it from time to time.

However, if someone is willing to share the private Trade ATS training videos (not the ATS V5 Methodology or older material already shared here), I might consider developing a free MT4 and MT5 version of both the Master Pattern and the ATS trend indicator, that should work exactly the same or very similar.

I was actually looking at the contraction box logic yesterday and I can confidently say you really nailed it.

I really appreciate you taking the time to put this together and share it.

I still hope some of the newer private material where they go deeper into their strategies eventually finds its way out too.

Would it still be useful for me to post my ATS Trend version, or are you already planning to cover that as well?

VoidTrail v1.00
Market Inefficiency & Directional Bias Dashboard

━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━

VoidTrail is a 100% standalone, native indicator for both MT4 and MT5 designed to track live bullish and bearish market inefficiencies and turn them into a practical directional bias tool.

The main idea behind it is simple: markets do not move randomly from candle to candle. They rotate between balance and imbalance. When price begins to show consistent inefficiency in one direction, that usually tells you which side currently has control. VoidTrail was built to make that directional pressure easier to read in real time.

It was designed especially to complement strategies built around market structure, contraction/expansion behavior, value shifts, and directional bias. In that sense, it works very well alongside Master Pattern style analysis.

To make it more useful as a complete multi-timeframe tool, I also integrated a custom Higher Timeframe Bias Panel and on-chart toggle buttons directly into the interface.

❖ What VoidTrail Actually Does

VoidTrail is not meant to predict exact entries by itself. Its purpose is to help answer a much more important question first:

Which side is the market currently favoring?

In Master Pattern terms, this is the same general idea as determining whether the market is more likely transitioning into a bullish or bearish phase, and whether the lower timeframe activity is moving in alignment with the higher timeframe cycle or against it.

The indicator does this by tracking the development of bullish and bearish inefficiency trails on the chart. Those trails help show:
  • which side is currently displacing price more effectively,
  • whether momentum is continuing or weakening,
  • and whether your lower timeframe setup is aligned with the broader directional flow.
That makes VoidTrail most useful as a bias filter and confirmation layer, not as a standalone “buy here / sell here” system.

❖ Core Features
  • Inefficiency Trails: Color-coded dynamic trails with clear Start and End markers to show when directional pressure begins, extends, and loses control.
  • Live Bias HUD: A customizable, draggable bias panel showing H4, D1, W1 and MN1 directional bias at a glance.
  • HTF Bias Context: Lets you quickly compare lower timeframe activity against the higher timeframe flow so you can avoid trading directly into stronger opposing pressure.
  • 1-Click UI: Toggle trail layers and interface elements directly from the chart to keep things clean and practical.
  • No DLLs Required: Fully self-contained and native for MT4/MT5.
❖ How to Use It
Note: VoidTrail is best used as a directional bias and momentum confirmation tool. It works especially well when paired with liquidity, value zone, or Master Pattern-style frameworks.
  1. Start with Higher Timeframe Bias: Use the Bias Panel first. This gives you the broader directional context and helps you understand which side has the stronger overall pressure.
  2. Find Your Setup Normally: Use your existing strategy to identify areas of interest, value zones, liquidity targets, reversals, or continuation setups.
  3. Use VoidTrail as a Filter: Check whether the current timeframe trail is aligned with your idea. If your setup and the live inefficiency trail agree, that is usually a much better environment than trading against active directional pressure.
  4. Use HTF Context for Trade Management: If lower timeframe signals are fighting the higher timeframe bias, that often suggests reduced follow-through, weaker continuation, or a higher chance of chop.
❖ Practical Interpretation
  • Bullish trail + bullish HTF bias: strongest alignment for long-side continuation ideas.
  • Bearish trail + bearish HTF bias: strongest alignment for short-side continuation ideas.
  • LTF trail against HTF bias: possible pullback, countertrend move, or lower-quality continuation environment.
  • Mixed / unstable trails: usually a sign to be more selective and wait for clearer directional commitment.
In short, VoidTrail helps you stop treating every setup equally. It helps you separate:
  • setups that are aligned with real directional pressure,
  • setups that are fighting the broader flow,
  • and environments where the market is simply not moving efficiently enough yet.
