Re: Volatility Indicators for MT4

I made a volatility indicator that is similar to Standard Deviation signals (StDev is included in the lower window for comparison.
But my indicator has a different operating principle: it compares changes in high and low prices.
By reducing the smoothing period, its sensitivity can be increased.
The normalized version is also made

Thank you for sharing this indicator here, I like your imagination and logic. Even if you are a naughty guy 😂

When it is above the zero level, large traders come into play. When it is below zero, it is flat
As MT4/5 do not have L2 volume data, and almost no real volume data (some exceptions are possible for future/ stocks), how can you stick to tick data and say it's accurate? Are you using tick micro-structure analysis or something similar?

I use logarithmic methods.
You can close your trades and take profits when the indicator is above the zero level and at its peak. Because there will be a reversal here

This is the same version.
At the top of the picture, the signal ma and the volatility line in their pure form are not involved. Below in the picture the signal ma is involved in the process

This indicator does not contain anything that is known about volatility. There is no deflection, no acceleration, no range or range.
It contains only volumes and their analysis.
I wanted to make an indicator of advanced volume analysis, but it turned out that it shows volatility very well
