Turns out that shipping lanes being closed is not Trump's problem after all.

No, you see the US produces its own oil so the countries who actually need Gulf oil are the ones who must gather ships to force the Straits open again, stands to reason.

And by the way, so far, according to Trump, the US has gone to great lengths to keep Iranian civilian casualties down to just thousands. But that might not be the case in future, the US has a deadline after all.

But apart from those minor operational issues the war in Iran is going very well, apparently.

Meanwhile the rest of America is contemplating oil heading to $200 a barrel and fuel to $7 a gallon but apparently that will be the fault of market speculators, not the closure of shipping lanes.

And we must also be wondering how come dozens of heads of state are not clambering for an emergency meeting of the UN Security Council to put pressure on the US and Iran to resolve the situation before whole nations collapse due to fuel shortages.

This is quickly turning into another Covid level disaster event and no one is saying a word, very curious, have they all had a memo or something?

European nations have cut Russian oil and gas, have now lost supply from Qatar, and half the world's LNG tankers are stranded useless in the Gulf. What are the European heads of state going to do? Who knows? The silence is deafening.

Reminder that both Gabbard (US intel chief) and Caine (US military chief) both advised Trump not to start this fiasco. So it’s not surprising that the US military now are not really that keen to jump in and are trying to keep it to a minimum.

Trump really needs to go back to those who did advise him to embark on this fiasco (Netanyahu and the US neocons) and ask them how to get himself out, strangely they’ve all gone very quiet of late.

It should also be noted that Iran spent decades preparing for this conflict and are ready with a hammer blow of hypersonic ballistic missiles to rain down on any attempt by the US navy to come near.

The actual sinking of US warships will demonstrate the definite end of US military dominance in the region and the Iranians are looking forward to the opportunity.

The US will remain a great power but they will not be able, thereafter, to solve every problem by just bombing everyone.

That is Iran’s objective and the Trump admin is only just starting to realise the trap they’ve walked into.

Trump can either negotiate and give up something (sanctions, bases or money) in which case the US has suffered a loss in plain sight but can still pretend bravado, or Trump can lose naval ships and show the world complete failure and the actual, demonstrable weakness of the US military, the repercussions of which will last for years.

And something else to look forward to, the Houthis, who also have ballistic missiles, are now threatening to join Iran and close down shipping in the Red Sea. Already the US carrier Gerald Ford currently in the Red Sea heading for the Gulf is having doubts about passing Houthis controlled territory in Yemen.

And finally, Team Trump is still talking of sending troops to Khag island. Will the Iranians see this also as an opportunity to humiliate the US military and be willing to sacrifice their oil infrastructure by missile striking the island to kill thousands of US troops? Of course they will you morons.

⚡️Russians will not be safe in any region of the Russian Federation. All because of the rapid development of Ukrainian missiles and UAVs, — this is already admitted by the former Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Shoigu

Chinese satellite pictures of the US aircraft carrier in the Red Sea suggests it's stopped its advance to the Gulf.

Meanwhile one of the aircraft carriers already in the Gulf was, according to the Iranians, hit by Iranian drones and set on fire .

Trump said he talked to his people and was told ‘there was no fire’, but now the carrier, according to the Americans, is leaving the Gulf due to damage caused by ‘a fire in the laundry’. Er, ok.

And now Trump desperately needs another $100 billion for the Iran war. Congress is telling him he will need to find it by cutting services to the American people. That's not going to go down well just before the midterm elections.

India, South Korea and Sri Lanka are already starting to shut down energy usage, Sri Lanka going onto a 4 day working week to save fuel.

China should have taken up Trump's offer to send their navy to Hormuz, they could have escorted loads of tankers out bound for BRICS states and waved to the US navy as they sailed past. 😶

Trump has started attacking the world's press as fake news for daring to suggest that perhaps the US might not be winning this war after all.

Reuters: The era of aircraft carriers is coming to an end; USS Abraham Lincoln is limping out of the Persian Gulf.

Reuters: With its military ingenuity, Iran has proven that aircraft carriers are no longer "impregnable fortresses," but merely large and expensive targets.

CNN: A national trauma; how could a $13-billion asset be rendered ineffective within minutes?

CNN: The return of the USS Abraham Lincoln to the United States in this condition is the biggest blow to the reputation of the American military since the Vietnam War.

Sputnik: The legend is dead; Abraham Lincoln arrival threaten, but is returning as a floating pile of scrap.

AFP (Agence France-Presse): Panic in the Pentagon; with the withdrawal of the USS Abraham Lincoln, the balance of power in West Asia has definitively shifted in Iran's favor.

AFP: U.S. allies are horrified; if even America's largest warship cannot protect itself against Iran, no one can rely on American protection anymore.

The Telegraph: This defeat will go down in history as "the moment Western naval dominance collapsed."

Meanwhile in Ukraine Zelensky has agreed to restore the flow of oil from Russia to Hungary (and therefore the EU). Reminder that the €90 billion, err, loan or whatever, from the EU to Ukraine is being held up by Hungary refusing to vote it through the parliament and we know that the end of March is when all Ukraine funds will be used up.

But apparently, according to Zelensky, the repairs to the pipeline will take a month and a half. Even a child would know Zelensky will continue the blockade as soon as he gets his hands on the money.

Meanwhile Zelensky starts another ‘don’t forget about me’ tour of Europe which has become a monthly fixture on the seasonal calendar. His arrival in London was rather spoiled by there being only Zaluzny and the pilot of his own plane on the tarmac to greet him.

And Russian army chief Gerasimov says that Russian forces now have control of 60% of Konstantinovka and 60% of Lymen and that these cities will soon be cleared and the drive to the last 2 cities in Donetsk, Kramatorsk and Sloviansk, will continue.

And finally, possibly literally, reports that Israeli neocons are contemplating using a nuclear bomb as their 30 year dream of the US destroying Iran for them fades to nothing.

And Trump has threatened sending Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine then walked it back, but then the WSJ said that targeting info in the form used by those particular missiles has already been forwarded on to Ukraine.

So if you thought things were getting boring, there’s still lots to look forward to.

Re: WW3 Countdown

Google AI...

Asia and Oceania (Most Critical)
Philippines: The country has switched to a four-day workweek to save energy. Almost 90% of its oil comes from the Middle East.
Bangladesh: The government has started rationing fuel, closed universities and is suffering from severe power shortages.
Japan: Extremely vulnerable, as 95% of its oil comes from the Middle East. The country has had to rely on its emergency reserves.
South Korea and Taiwan: Both countries compete for scarce oil supplies and suffer from high prices. Taiwan is the most dependent on liquefied natural gas (LNG) and oil among Asian countries.
India: Has to find alternative sources (such as Russian oil) to make up for missing imports from Iraq and Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan: Suffers from a sharp increase in fuel prices (over 24%) and availability problems.
Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar: These countries have limited refining capacity and are suffering from export bans imposed by Thailand and Vietnam.
Australia is currently (March 2026) experiencing a fuel crisis, which the government describes as a "national crisis". Although the country is a net energy exporter, it is highly dependent on imported oil, making it vulnerable to conflict in the Middle East.
Sri Lanka: The country has returned to a 2022-like crisis. Fuel queues are regulated by a QR code system, and public transport is almost at a standstill.

Europe
Germany, Spain and Italy: European countries are particularly affected by rising fuel prices and are competing with Asia for free oil and gas supplies. Germany has reported significant disruptions in the tourism and transport sectors.
Hungary and Croatia: Have imposed price caps on fuels to protect consumers from price spikes.
Greece: Archipelago transport is struggling due to fuel costs, threatening the start of the tourist season.
Poland and the Baltic countries: These countries are particularly affected by the rise in logistics costs, as they have been on the front lines of replacing Russian oil with more expensive alternatives.

Other regions
Low-income countries: The United Nations (UNCTAD) has warned that many developing countries are at risk because they lack the financial buffers to cope with rising import costs.
South Africa: Logistics chains are in crisis. The price of diesel has risen so high that the transport of goods from ports to the interior has slowed down significantly, which is reflected in the increase in food prices.
Kenya: The removal of fuel subsidies, coinciding with a global price spike, has led to widespread protests and unrest.
Brazil: State oil company Petrobras is struggling under political pressure as people demand price caps. Strikes in the transport sector threaten to halt the country’s freight transport.
Argentina: The country is chronically short of dollar reserves, making it difficult to buy oil at world market prices. Agricultural machinery is sitting idle in the fields due to a shortage of diesel.

Oil-producing countries themselves, such as Iraq, Kuwait and the United Arab Emirates, have also had to cut production because they cannot transport oil through the closed Strait of Hormuz and their own reserves have been filled.

Trump is desperate to keep oil at less than $100 a barrel. He’s lifted sanctions on Russian oil trying to boost global supply and he’s letting Iranian oil tankers go unharmed to their destinations for the same reason.

But there are obstacles, number 2 clown in the EU Kaja Kallas just announced that Russian oil shipped through the Baltic and the Med must be curtailed as much as possible, by any means possible.

It’s impossible to keep pretending this clown is not being directed by her overlords, the globalist elite who want escalation of the current crisis.

Trump’s other problem is his own MIC and partners are also working for someone else.

This was shown with the latest attack on Iranian energy production infrastructure which in turn led to the inevitable automatic retaliation strike by Iran on the Gulf states oil infrastructure.

So Trump is fighting 2 losing battles, the military one and the economic one.

He has no way out and must start negotiations as soon as possible for the sake of the global economy but there is probably no saving his own position, impeachment will come no matter what he does.

In negotiations he will be lucky if he just gets away with sanctions relief for Iran and may end up paying much more, nevertheless it’s the only way to go. A US ‘boots on the ground' invasion of Iran or nuclear strikes are just not a real option.
