2104Utter nonsense, I have it on unimpeachable authority that ALL of Iran's nuclear stockpile was totally obliterated in 'Operation Fuck-Wits Hammer' in late 2025boytoy wrote: Mon Mar 09, 2026 6:55 pm Trump Is Preparing To Send US Special Forces Into Iran “To Secure Their Nuclear Stockpile”

Re: WW3 Countdown
2105US oil hit $115 on market open after the weekend, currently looking to try to fill the gap but remains above $100. Note that it nearly doubled from $60 at the beginning of March.
Also of note is Bahrain has followed Qatar in declaring ‘force majeure’ (unable to fulfil their energy supply contracts due to circumstances unforeseeable and beyond their control). The other Gulf states will have to follow soon.
The oil and gas supply from the Gulf is being systematically shut down, oil and gas prices must continue to rise due to the closure of the Straits of Hormuz and there is nothing Trump can do about it.
Trump keeps up his bellicose rhetoric and sends more and more ships to the region but they are all gathered 1000miles away for safety. If they move any closer they will be attacked, the US navy knows it and has told Trump so.
You don’t need to sink an aircraft carrier, you just need to put a hole in the top to render the whole thing useless.
The US navy can only move closer if Iran surrenders and so far there is no reason why they should, which is why Trump keeps up his stream of hollow threats and not much else because there is nothing else he can do.
Regime change - no. Population uprising - no. Give insurance for tankers - no. Send navy into the Straits - no. US army invade - no. US proxy invade - no. Destroy all missile launchers - no. Wait for Iran missile supply to run out - no.
The 64,000 dollar question is at what price will oil reach before the rest of the US and the rest of the world demand Trump stand down?

Re: WW3 Countdown
2108Turns out that the Iran war is pretty much done and dusted according to Trump. So no doubt the US has totally destroyed ALL of Iran's nuclear material, again, that’s twice in 6 months so that’s good going.
Trump also tells us that Iran has run out of missiles so there is probably no need for the US navy to escort tankers through the Straits and all that stuff.
Probably just as well it’s nearly all over because Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are signalling they too are almost out of oil storage capacity and will need to shut down all production very soon.
So Trump’s announcement that the US has more or less won this one is very timely indeed.
Sure there’s still some ballistic missiles raining down on Israel but that’s probably just the last dregs of Iran’s supply and no doubt they will have run out about the same time the US pulls back.
So all in all a good job well done and another great victory for the US and Trump.
The end, move along, nothing to see here.
Since Trump’s speech yesterday oil is back down into the 80s so the markets seem to think the situation is now de-esculating.
The slight snag is that Iran was in this same position 6 months ago and decided to back off when Trump did but may well be in a better position now to encourage a more permanent end with a proper internationally agreed peace treaty for the long term.
Trump also said he had a good talk with Putin earlier in the day. Trump initiated the call to ask something of Putin, don’t know what. They also talked about the Ukraine war and Trump expressed his desire that Putin would just get it over with.
Putin is in the same position as Iran, why stop if there is no guarantee it wont just restart all over again once the west has restocked?
I'm still waiting for the west, and especially the US, to understand they will all be better off in a multipolar world where trade opportunities will multiply exponentially when wealth is accrued by more and more countries.
Wealth is not zero sum, and if certain resources deplete over time alternatives are devised, progress that humans have demonstrated over and over since forever.

Re: WW3 Countdown
2110Both wars could end soon, possibly within a few weeks, Trump has finally realised he can't win either of them.
His phone call to Putin two days ago was in part searching for an off ramp to the Iran war which will include an ending of Russian oil sanctions, which will lead to an end of the Ukrainian war.
Trump sees he can't end the Hormuz blockade, bombing is not working along with everything else, and neither will his navy.
If US ships get close enough to try to escort tankers they will all be attacked by Iranian missiles. If nothing changes then the price of oil will go through the roof wreaking havoc on global economies.
Trump got a taste of this inevitability on Monday and it scared the shit out of him.
As things stand it's already going to take time to get Gulf oil back on-line once the US has backed down, hence the call to Putin.
Trump needs the sanctions lifted off Russian oil which is needed to fill the gap until Gulf oil starts flowing again.
The lifting of sanctions on Russia spells the end of the Ukrainian war. Trump has already pulled the US out and the Europeans, who already can't cope, will no longer be able to justify continued support for Ukraine under the pretext the Russian economy is on the verge of collapse.
The Europeans will be forced to admit the cause is hopeless and must be abandoned.
But there is obviously no need for the Russians to just stop, so negotiations will follow with Russia demanding a lot more territory than they currently possess.
Back to Iran and they should also be able to get commitments from Israel and the US for a long term peace with security guarantees from Russia and China.
Very real possibility western neocons and the deep state will start rummaging in their bag of very dirty tricks out of desperation to save these fantastic money spinners for the western elites.
