Why the US can’t win this war in the Gulf.

Iran is using US models made for asymmetric war games in 2002 to defeat the US, as is described in the short video below, and it's working just as it did against the Houthis.

The Trump admin say they are winning and even that they have already won but the excuses for this debacle are now coming in thick and fast even as the bellicose rhetoric continues.

The latest National Intelligence Council report was leaked to NYT and says that they informed Trump in advance NOT to go ahead with this war on Iran.

Trump in an interview yesterday said ‘they’ (Rubio, Hegseth and others in the admin) told him now was the right time - to make war with Iran.

General Caine, the Trump appointed chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, is on record warning Trump not to go into this war in the first place.

Remember that Netanyahu has been trying to get a US president into a war with Iran for over 30 years and finally found his man in Trump.

Trump is proving to be more deluded and moronic than Biden and that takes some doing.

Trump also said yesterday that there was nothing really left to target in Iran but that the US could keep this up for another 2 weeks or in fact forever if needed. Err, ok.

But the US is running out of escalation rungs, they started bombing Iranian desalination plants so Iran returned with the same on the other Gulf states desal plants so the US and Israel backed down. The US hit an Iranian bank so Iran says they will hit US banks in the Gulf states so now all those banks are closing down and evacuating staff.

The US is trying to say now that they have already won but the Iranian regime is still in place, the Straits are still closed, and Iran still has plenty of drones and missiles, some western analysists are talking 10 months minimum in stockpiles at current use rate.

Trump in full panic mode gives nonsense bellicose speeches to crowds who don’t know how to react which is not surprising as 70% of Americans polled wanted nothing to do with the conflict in Iran in the first place.

Many commentators are now pointing out that this is going so badly wrong now that Trump risks getting the US chucked out of the middle east altogether.

Even Piers Morgan is scratching his head trying to figure out what's really happening.

What’s happening is that Iran has gained strategic dominance in the conflict and that’s a major problem for the US as they have no way to turn things back around.

All the US can do is bounce the rubble of the targets they have already hit because they have no idea where all the underground missile silos are.

Meanwhile their early warning billion dollar radar stations have been taken out, these 5000 mile range stations were supposed to pin point Iranian missile launch locations and provide trajectory information for attack missiles as well as provide information for all the other tier radar systems to target the incoming missiles.

Israel now has just 90 seconds to find, target and destroy Iranian missiles and drones, and they are struggling.

For some reason the Americans thought their main radar station could not be destroyed yet was in fact taken out by just 1 $30,000 drone.

Not only that but interceptor missiles are now in extremely short supply. The US is said to have told Ukraine that they just received their last batch ever, from now on all production will go to the middle east.

The US and Israel have realised that Iran can, and are, effectively carrying out a second strike policy, when the US/Israel attack infrastructure, Gulf/Israel infrastructure is attacked in return, hence the missiles targeting oil refineries, desalination plants, military bases, and civilian targets.

As said in yesterday's post Israel and the US are beginning to understand that Iran has prepared in advance for this war and can keep firing missiles for many more months at least.

The Gulf states are realising the severity of the situation, if the Straits remain closed and their desalination plants are destroyed they only have enough food and water for a few weeks, not months.

Now we can see why the Iranians are able to make such huge demands to Israel and the US. Stop the attacks, US bases out of the middle east, and pay reparations.

Trump walked blindly straight into this one, he really needs to back out now, while claiming victory of course, and let the dust settle before agreeing to a long term peace treaty with Iran and maybe he can keep the US bases and avoid any payments - maybe.

Another interesting fact for the already dismal prospects for Europe, who are going to need LNG coming from wherever they can find it, is that 50% of the world's LNG tankers are currently trapped in the Gulf and maybe not getting out any time soon.

If only the Europeans had an LNG pipeline in place literally all their problems would be solved

The Petrodollar agreement made in the early 1970s between the oil rich Gulf states and the US had the US buying oil and the Gulf using those dollars to buy US treasuries, for which the US would provide security for the region.

That contract is being broken, the Gulf states are screaming now at the Americans but the Americans can do nothing to stop the missiles flying in.

As said in yesterday's post, the Gulf states have just weeks before total disaster, it would take the US 6 months to raise the million and a half men army needed to take on Iran, except that the US people won't sign up.

Never before has the US ever gone to war without a majority in support, this one they did.

What else? Nuke Iran?

Trump has no choice but to back down, same as Zelensky really but Trump has a very real hard-stop time restraint.

If he doesn't act soon oil production in the Gulf will be lost for many months if not years and US treasuries will see a sell off like nothing seen before.

The US economy may well not survive from that potential crisis let alone the oil price rise shock on the horizon.

Trump is releasing near half of US oil reserves that are already low after Biden drained them to try to control inflation several years ago.

But that's a one-off trick and won't work for long either.

The US has also relaxed sanctions on Russian oil but the Russians are already selling their oil anyway.

The European leadership has decided to just bury their heads in the sand while keeping their foot firmly planted on the accelerator of Project Ukraine.

Not that they can do much of anything anyway and the culmination of disaster in Ukraine or in the Gulf will see them all swept from power anyway.

Also of note is that Witkoff and Kushner have been revealed as total frauds. The Russians say that they are blatant liars, and it has become clear that their main objectives on their world tours was to do business deals to enrich Trump family and friends.

The diplomatic missions were just a cover and they played the same role as Biden’s son did for Biden. Trump is firmly with the swamp now.

There is no doubt that as diplomats Witkoff and Kushner were remarkably useless and probably even helped start and aided the continuation of wars rather than prevent or stop any of them.

The increasingly bizarre rhetoric coming out of Trump and Hegseth shows the rising panic in the Trump team.

Trump is now, laughably, trying to get CHINA to join a naval coalition to force open the Straits ffs.

2 weeks into this fiasco and Trump is just realising he's in deep shit, so deep he can't now just back out.

If he packed up and went home now he'd be leaving the Straits in Iran's complete control forever after. Trump has now forced himself into negotiations while holding the weak hand.

Trump attacked Khag island after market close on Friday and made the point he intentionally did not attack the oil infrastructure to minimise the effect on the oil markets. Iran responded immediately by bombing a UAE oil installation telling Trump ‘we don’t give a fuck’.

Iran has demonstrable strategic dominance in this war by controlling shipping and the only question is what they will get for ending the war and reopening of the Straits?

An end to sanctions? A trillion dollars reparations? The removal of US military bases in the Gulf? All 3?

Trump is staring at a monumental defeat and talks nonsensical escalations because really has no cards left to play. Talk of sending 2000 US troops to Khag island to be missile attacked by Iran is just stupid. And surely he's not mad enough to use nukes? What about Israel? They have nukes too.

This was all easily foreseeable but Trump deliberately shut out anyone who tried to say it (Caine, Vance, Gabbard, et al) and it will cost him his presidency.

The humiliating loss of a war that the majority of Americans didn't want in the first place and the monumental price to pay will guarantee Trump losing the upcoming midterm elections.

The Dems then in control of both houses will waste no time in bringing impeachment hearings that will bring down the whole Trump government.

This catastrophic mistake compounded by a refusal to recognise it as such early on when he could have rectified it will be Trump's legacy for the historical record.

It’s all a great victory for the deep state and the globalist elite, they didn’t need to assassinate him after all.

Trump and Hegseth predict that the Iran war will last just 2 more weeks and they’re probably right. What they are not right about is the reason for the 2 week deadline and the result of the conflict.

They tell us that though the decapitation strike did not cause regime change and neither did the people rise up to cause it either, 2 more weeks of intensive bombing will.

Which is fortunate because they already disclosed that that’s how long the bombs and missiles they have in stock will last anyway

But what Trump and Hegseth are deliberately missing is that entire countries are going to start to run out of oil and oil based products like fuel in … oh, about 2 WEEKS.

Everyday more oil production infrastructure is being systematically destroyed and all the while Trump has no real strategy other than to hope that bombing will work - eventually.

There must be over a hundred countries with very meagre oil reserves that will literally be shutting down completely within the month.

You should seriously be asking yourself how come the leaders of these countries are not screaming at Trump to stop this idiocy NOW.

Yes we knew this was the globalist’s plan since the 1970s, collapse economies and societies then rebuild from the ashes a new authoritarian model using digital IDs to control the people and replace the doomed current monetary system with a new start-over digital currency.

But for it all to happen right in front of your eyes and not a word from any of our current bunch of incompetent leaders, all hand picked by the globalist elite incidentally, but also not even a single word from ‘the people’. To be able to say ‘I was there when it all collapsed’ will be something to tell your grandchildren, just not in a proud way.

Meanwhile on the Ukraine front things are starting to heat up again, the winter thaw and the resulting mud is clearing early this year thanks to unusually warm spring temperatures.

In Zaporizhzhia oblast the encirclement of the city of Orikhiv is progressing. After Orikhiv there is nothing to halt the advance onto Zaporizhzhia city itself which is another city described in military terms as being undefendable, due to the lay of the land.

And beyond Zaporizhzhia city is Odessa.

In Donetsk oblast the Russians are on the verge of taking Konstantinovka after which are only the twin cities Kramatorsk and Sloviansk left which are also ‘undefendable’ due to their positioning on a valley floor surrendered by hills.

Interesting side note to show the degree of propaganda we in the west are controlled by, I just tapped ‘Ukraine war’ into the YouTube web site search and the result gave 50+ recent videos all on the theme of how Ukraine is winning and Russia is close to defeat - every single one.

There can be absolutely no dissension from the official narrative, not anywhere.
