I did tell you all years ago that it was 'all about the spike protein'.

Very interested in the section on chemo therapy. Having watch many die after a short spell of getting better after chemo I had my doubts as to it's effectiveness.

Fun fact; very roughly, in western populations, a third die of cancer, a third die of heart disease, and a third die of stroke.

(btw, heart disease and stroke are the same thing (clogged arteries) just in different organs)

Appreciate you Ogee, it's a good collection of updates on the tariff situation. My main concern of this news is how it will impact our trades. Which pairs will it really affect (in your opinion)? 🤔

USD sell off happening as we speak.

First time round from 2016 and the first Trump election stocks and indices took off right up until Trump announced a tariff trade war with China around mid 2017, markets responded by going into a wide range for pretty much the rest of his term.

Will be different this time as he's not having to deal with Russiagate and has Elon cutting govt spending left, right and centre so may be not so bad.

It may be that this time round the tariffs will be limited, as last time there was repeated escalations, China - US .

Also, I remember that last time, surprisingly, the expected inflation did not arise from the tariff/trade war as Chinese manufacturers absorbed most of the imposed tariffs themselves.

OK, I'll post this even though it'll be controversial. ;)

Ronald Reagan: We should beware of the demagogues who are willing
to declare a Trade war against our friends, weakening our economy,
our national security, and the entire free world, all while cynically
waving the American flag…

So, it must be clearly stated - Trump is a socialist.
Socialism was / is about idealistically equalizing inequalities
- from above and by force - between different groups, e.g. social classes.
This was done with complete disregard of science - economics, sociology, etc.
Trump's socialism is, however, on a macro scale, because he wants to equalize
alleged inequalities between countries ('poor US exploited by all like the working
class used to be'), through external, arbitrary and artificial imposition of burdens
and taxes (customs) on a macro scale. In this sense, he is an (inter)state socialist.
How will it end? Like any socialism - with the collapse of the system,
high inflation and recession.

Oh dear, imagine calling Trump a socialist, how can the poor man ever recover from such a slur. SMH.

US budget deficits were manageable while the USD was the global reserve currency, the world traded with dollars so needed dollars. The US just needed to print them and hand them over for goods.

But the world is turning and there's a new player in town who has goods to sell and increasingly doesn't need the USD to do it.

The US at it's height once produced over 40% of the worlds manufactured goods now, comparatively, it produces next to nothing.

China meanwhile is currently estimated to account for approximately 30-35% of global manufacturing output.

The US embarked on mass outsourcing overseas in the 1980s in the name of globalisation, but now the whole globalism bandwagon is running off the rails (authoritarian over-reach) and the US needs to start producing something again other than just printed dollars.

Hence tariffs to even up the playing field, US manufacturing is encouraged to expand due to the discouragement to import. It adds an 'equal' dimension to the 'free' and 'fair' aspects already in place to world trade.

Of course it will work but it's a sign of a shift away from a hegemon unipolar world and towards a multipolar one, which is also a good thing for everyone in the long run and a more natural state of affairs from a historical perspective.

Watch next for individual European states to start exercising a more independent streak and look to escape the straight jacket that is the European Union which is a authoritarian globalist construct to it's core.

And next on the EU 'To Be Banned' list

Soon to be put on the EU 'To Be Banned' List

Nice work if you can get it!

Imagine deindustrialising yourself but what really upsets you is Trump.
