The latest update of MT4 seems to be causing issues with a handful of EA's and indicators so here are links to posts that explain how to resolve this by rolling back to a previous MT4 version:

Now it seems they are forcing clients to update MT4 otherwise, the old version won't connect. The old version is displayed in the bottom right of the MT4 window. and i can't connect

My solution here does it work for you? You have to replace both MT4 Terminal and Metaeditor with the previous version.

Thank you for your help. I applied all the steps, but it still refuses to connect and forces me to update or download a new version from the broker. Once I update, it starts working.

You are Right.

I took help of computer guy and did the mentioned process. This worked till Sat - 08 Jun.

But from my yesterday i.e. 09 Jun, I am also getting the same error as mentioned by you in pic and cannot login.

Yes bro, it seems all the shared tricks no longer work because the broker's MT4 server now checks the client's version and enforces the installation of the new version.

I just had to do this this morning. 'No connection' then 'old version' had to download the new version (1420) from the broker (was allowed to keep personal data).

No, everything working fine so far but is strange in that it's the first time I can remember needing to re-download from the broker. Normally updates are automatic or you get the notification from Metaquotes that a new update is available on opening mt4.

I did remember that the 1415 was only from early May and this 1420 has the date 24th May, they don't normally do them that close together.

Yeah noticed this too.

The latest MT4 1420's so called "security" updates attempts to block cracked EA's and indicators. They've been working on this since MT4 1417 hence why I asked one of the members experiencing these new terminal problems if they are using cracked files here
