I was remembering this excellent indicator, could you update the averages (if you have any new ones) and include the RMAs in it?

Thank you very much, in advance!!

Dear @mrtools,

Would it be possible to update this Ichimoku indicator so that:

1) it does NOT start in an ON state when loading the charts and,

2) it does NOT switch back to an ON state (after being switched OFF) when TFs are changed

It should ONLY be switched ON/OFF via the button ;)

Your great work will be forever appreciated :problem: :)

Warmest regards,

Won't be with my coding computer till tomorrow sometime, but not sure if what you ask is possible, far as I remember it does part 2, but not sure if part 1 is possible.

Hi @mrtools,

Hopefully, you have not started on the update just yet because I was hoping you could include an additional request to add an alert when the Chinkou crosses the Kumo Cloud. (i.e. when it leaves the Kumo Cloud and NOT when it enters the Kumo Cloud)

Crossing ABOVE when bullish and crossing BELOW when bearish :)

This is a very good idea and would be great to use within existing systems 👍

Added the alerts, please try, about the button when the indicator is first placed on the chart it initializes itself along with the button, far as I know this is required for the indicator and button, once placed on a chart then you can switch the indicator on/off with the button. Tested the older version and this version and once after initialization the button stays off when scrolling through timeframes and even if you lose connection to your server, it will stay off. But this is just my testing using mostly default settings, maybe there could be something I missed if you are using different settings.

Ichimoku Multi-timeframe Conditional Bars with signals in separate windows

I like Ichimoku but the chart is crowded so I use an indicator with signals in separate windows.

The type of signals in the indicator are as follows.
  • price has crossed Tenkan-sen.
  • price has crossed Kijun-sen.
  • Tenkan-sen has crossed Kijun-sen.
  • Chikou span has crossed price.
  • Price plunges into Kumo.
  • Senkou span 1 has crossed Senkou span 2.
  • Price has crossed Kumo.
  • Tenkan-sen has crossed Kumo.
  • Kijun-sen has crossed Kumo.
  • Chikou span has crossed Kumo.
  • All matches 3,4 and 7.
  • All matches 3,4,7,6 and 9.
