Looking forward to mrtools teacher writing Sidus EA

i realize there is no evidence of values without news
i think sidus may become profitable with news trading
random ma cross and rsi is no good long term even with previous levels
if its activated for news and trails this would seem beneficial

hedging may also work but thats beyond my understanding
you can make any indicator profitable by hedging

What does the Hedging option do?

1 sell
1 buy
1 sell
Positions have to be opened certain distance from eachother

Close on The collective % take profit
Min - Maximun

If sell reaches max percent in space close position
If not hold position when buy is open then repeat
I think dont know exactly

Which is literally unstoppable if you think about it
This is why hedging was banned in us because abuse

just use good money management, and also drawdown protection and shut off if a glitch happens leaving positions unattended
And without spread, slippage, latency, requotes , reliable broker

Just as a side line to the convo, hedging is most often used to protect positions over the weekend. So for example if you thought news over the weekend might adversely affect your trade you could take out a new equal and opposite position and so your overall profit/loss would stand still until you closed the new position on Monday.

Of course you also lose any possible gain if there was favourable news but at least you would sleep easy.
