Thanks for the re-coding - what it difficult on some occasions is seeing the current direction of the central band.
I have looked at the PolyFit derivative indicators that use these dual coloured lines (that show when they are moving up or down) and tried to incorporate them but not being a coder I failed of course.

This is a mtf version of the ma trend with the arrows shift option.
