I prefer the new (2023) version. However I'm experimenting with the cross signals. The triple smoothed EMA method in the last update seems to be better. It filters noise. How I'm planning on using it is to wait to wait for a pullback on a trend, wait for overbought/oversold, wait for the cross, then get in. I would like to backtest this for a longer period to see the win rate.

Yes please, no histogram, no fill, no text, no zone level, but the wpr lines should still have that shadow fill option to indicate it reached the overbought/oversold level.
Then arrow/dot on chart to indicate a cross of the lines. The only alert should be for the cross.

Anything you can do to make it lighter. I'm really grateful.

P.S. if there's anything you'd want to add in to make it better (that won't take much space) I won't mind. Thank you.

I was thinking Mrtools, the arrow to indicate the line cross doesnt have to be on the chart. it can be in the same subwindow.. please choose whichever you prefer.

P.S. just an idea, not sure possible, but instead of showing line crosses, if its possible to show just full auto-width histogram version and then add a separate coloring in the histogram to indicate the overbought/oversold. If too complex, which I think it is, please disregard this one. Thank you.

Sorry for the delay, been having internet issues, giant cockroach issues etc. never ends. :) How do you want the rest of the histogram coloring?

Sorry about the internet and cockroach issues.. when you say "giant", it sends me shivers lol.. Hope you get rid of most of them, because those guys are resilient.

The histogram should color positive when the first wpr crosses the second up, and then when the wpr up color condition has been met (ie when it enters the upper level, then there should be a thicker or different color. vice versa. Please let me know if you get me and this makes sense.

To simplify:
first wpr crossing 2nd one up, one color.
first wpr crossing 2nd one down another color
First Wpr "lines up" color another color
First Wpr "lines down" color another color
Then both Wpr "lines up" color should be a thicker color compared to the first wpr "lines up" color
and finally, when both wpr "lines down" color condition is met, have a thicker color compared to the first wpr "lines down" color

Hey Mrtools, The more I think about it, I think just having the line cross version may be simpler and better? I dunno, just thoughts.. I leave the option to you, any version you're able to make will be okay.

Yeah new version is the most reliable allrounder for sure...... strong for your style of waiting on pullback to resume into trends but the old one is still the GOAT and just the best for extreme market reversal signals as the FAST WPR will exit just a miniscule faster!!!

You're very correct about the old version. This new version though still filters noise for reversals. I'm referring to XAUUSD, I checked the charts, I found out that if you wait to enter a reversal trade after the slow wpr exits, you wont have to wait much time or hold DD for too long before price moves in your favor., not every time though.. this is good for people who trade martingale style. If an EA is made from this reversal signal, it'll outperform those premium EAs sold at metaquotes. My issue with reversal trading is I would really need a wide stoploss, so I dont get taken out before the move turns back.
