This trade was a loss. Can you explain why? I thought I followed all the structures, but maybe I missed something
I'd always recommend to check higher time frames.

H1 was still looking very bullish.

Yes, exactly... I've been using this charts configuration since you post a screenshot sometime ago and it really served me well... 👍👍

If you check higher timeframe you'll realize that this setup is against the trend. You still can take it for scalping a few pips. IMHO

Hi, few post back post1295546624.html#p1295546624 XARDs say to use EMA 200 in M5 as filter, never SELL Trades Above this line and never BUY Trades Below this line. Personally I use in all TFs as filter EMA 200...

Unfortunately, my laptop only has 15 inches, so everything was so small and unscaled.
Did you do this?

Right click on the MT icon on the taskbar, then right click on the MT4 program and left click on properties.

With Properties open select compatibility then down near the bottom "change high DPI setting"

Select High DPI scaling override and change to system in the options below, click ok and restart MT4.

Sure, I made a video for you:
XARD: Horizontally tile two charts and move to the left, add a third chart and move to the right and hit the border button and save as template.

Hi, you simply had to look at the BigSemaUp
and then not go looking for short entries.
In doing so you went against the trend and I am not at all surprised that it stopped you.
Rightly a further check on H1 would have confirmed the trend.
When you entered you were not under a BigSemaDown, what you indicate doesn't count because it has yet to be confirmed and will be the next structure but we don't know when.

Take a good, close look again at the video of Curioso at 5M.

You should be aware of one thing:
There is no setup in the world with a 100% hit rate.
It's simply about probabilities. XARD's XU 65 has a higher hit rate than 50% and that's what it's all about.
Even if you only have 50% winners and your winning trades are 10% higher than your losing trades you will be a successful trader.
I have been trading for 7 years, do you think I have no losers?
My loss rate is 60%, but my winning trades are on average 2.5 times higher than my losses. Just so everyone understands:
60 x 1= 60
40 x 2.5 = 100
100 - 60 = 40
That means 60 USD invested, 100 USD earned.

EDIT: You could compare it to potatoes, for example: buy potatoes from the farmer for USD 60 and sell them on the market for USD 100.

If I had known this 7 years ago, the first few years would have been very relaxed.
Wish you and all forum members a successful week.
