To Trade or Not To Trade... What is the White line?
On the 5min Chart it is the EMA 200 Close line
It is our line in the sand that defines and sets our common sense approach to intraday trading.
No SELL Trades Above this line and No BUY Trades Below this line.

Good.

Pls what do you use BB Stops band line for?
Do you use it for placing Stop Loss and Trailing Stops?
What is the importance?
Thank you

I have always had the M5 200SMA line on my chart for close to 2 years now. It also is a robust support and resistance level.

I’ve been considering incorporating Bollinger Bands into the XARD system for a while. Now that I have a better understanding of the XARD system, I’m going to give it a try..

This trade was a loss. Can you explain why? I thought I followed all the structures, but maybe I missed something
Hello tmostafa,

Don’t let yourself get so enamored with the indicator signals that you ignore basic market structure. At your entry, the market is in the midst of forming a consolidation period. If you identify these areas, you will want to avoid trading in them.

As for the indicators, there is very little if any separation of the moving averages. It looks like the ADR is possibly right at or a little short of the -15% threshold desired for sell entry. These are more confirmations of the consolidation zone. With that being said, had I taken a chance and tried that entry, I would have probably taken the pips at that 36 period medium size blue dot and counted my blessings.

Banzai created a Bollinger Band Squeeze indicator that incorporates Keltner bands. The grayed out patches on the chart are from that indicator and are meant to help identify consolidation zones. On this chart the BB colors are turned off. The visual of the BB lines can get a bit messy on the chart. post1295540205.html#p1295540205 If you search, you can probably find an mt4 version of Banzai's indicator
