Escalate to nukes? Negotiations? Escalate to Tomahawk missiles? (capable of carrying nuke warheads). Up or down super stable Zelensky just can't make up his mind what he wants.

But things are getting real desperate. Russia has just combined 3 armies to try to entrap thousands of Ukr troops and finish up the Donbas part of the conflict. Starting to see the progression from attrition warfare to manoeuvre warfare, on this part of the frontline at least.

Meanwhile Zelensky is still reinforcing the Kursk region. He still has no understanding that the Russians want them there. Easier to kill them there than back over the border in behind Ukr defensive lines. After near 3 years Ukr still has no understanding of the basic Russian tactic that it doesn't matter where the battles are fought, only that the actual battleground suits your goal of systematically destroy the opposition, and they are.

And what about the F-16s? It's all gone quiet. That's because the old Ukr MIG pilots cannot learn English well enough to fly the F-16s safely so the new plan is to train young volunteers from scratch. Should only take another couple of years or so.

Zelensky made one demand too many with the Tomahawk stunt in the 'secret' section of his 'Victory' plan.

The US response was to cancel the Ramstein monthly meetings - forever, and leaked to the NYT the Tomahawk escalation, and another NYT story how the US was all out of air defence missiles to give, and Llyod Austin telling Zelensky there will be no more congress requests for any more money by the Biden admin (for as long as that lasts (Jan 2025)).

Seems the US has finally realised just how completely unstable Zelensky has become. The US is shutting down 'Project Ukraine'.

Meanwhile Russia has started to consider some 'big arrow' offensives now the Ukr army is collapsing on all fronts and the Russians are well behind all the pre-prepared Ukr defences and only hastily dug trenches in front of them.

Yes, there are still a couple of major towns to take such as Pokrovsk but they don't have the multiple level underground bunkers that the Russians come up against previously and won't take anything like as long to overwhelm.
