42I suspect this will consolidate for a bit then make a run for the highs in another leg or two. Or maybe not.
Not confident, not going to trade, just watching.

44Looks suspiciously like the fabled MMBM playing out.
If so it should go at least to the highs (with two or three more pushes?). Good scalps possibly to be had along the way if this is what it looks like.
Probably not going to take any more entries into it but will be interesting to see how it develops with XU Semafors, particularly the second Big Dot, etc. Particularly interested to see how XU would keep me out of bad trades if it does fail (rather than keep me out of good trades which it frequently does)

45good morning, if I understood correctly, are you waiting for the big blue dot to evaluate a buy? it's a system that you don't understand much without questioning your skill, but I think it's personal, but I will evaluate your study to position myself

46Hi. No, not quite.Lenovo wrote: Thu Oct 23, 2025 6:13 pm good morning, if I understood correctly, are you waiting for the big blue dot to evaluate a buy? it's a system that you don't understand much without questioning your skill, but I think it's personal, but I will evaluate your study to position myself
I got in long during yesterday's New York PM session about an hour after the Sema 275 (star) on m5 using a well-known price action model, and will probably hold it til it hits my target or I get stopped out..
That particular price action model is quite robust and can give long runs, but I usually find it difficult to spot in it's early stages. I'm hoping that XU will make that PA model easier for me to see in the future.
That said, I am keenly watching to see if a second big blue dot does form, it is starting to look like a "classic" XU setup as far as I understand it., but price often doesn't retrace that deeply for a second big blue dot and the train often leaves without me, so to speak.
On balance though, if I was to consider a second entry, I think the highest probability option would be to wait for the second big dot and consider entries from there. Alternatively I'd look for 10 to 20 point scalps along the way (my preferred option) with the help of XU on m1.
I'd be interested to see what you decide to do, post an update if you like.

47Same setup again. Missed it this time cos sitting in a longer-term long.

48I missed the buy and then went to sell, and I took a stop loss
Re: Scalping Nasdaq -simplified XARD
49Sorry to hear that. Any sell would had to have been very short term, don't be tricked by a down arrow forming. All it means it that a higher high has been made, not necessarily a reversal.Lenovo wrote: Fri Oct 24, 2025 3:56 am I missed the buy and then went to sell, and I took a stop loss

50Got out before the target at yesterday's High. It will probably get there ultimately, but it looked like it was stalling at yesterday's open and dont want to sit through a few more hours of retracement (or worse).
