The model short simplified and idealised.
Again, this is nothing new nor original. Putting it in a the XU context makes it easier for me to see.
Entries can be refined beyond mere OTE, but it is a good catch-all.
Re: Scalping Nasdaq -simplified XARD
32The model long playing out before NY open (AFK, did not get in on it).
Hindsight trade: The first order block after the star (SEMA 275) could have yielded 20 pts at 1:4 in minutes if executed correctly.
Again, that is a well-known entry setup made a bit easier to spot with XU. Something to look out for.

34Tried to get in too early, London session, targeting the D1 open line. Very nearly stopped out, and it may yet fail.
Trading around ATH unsurprisingly a bit squirrely

Going to wait for NY before considering anything else.

36Turns out it needed to go a bit lower first. Happens quite a lot.Tomson wrote: Tue Oct 21, 2025 7:18 pm Stopped out. Read that wrong.

Likely to hit the D1 open line, question is will it go directly or take another detour first.
08:30 EST news sometime drives it to target, though no significant news today. Also would rather not hold through NY open at 09:30.

38Eventually got back to D1 Open via a key level which can be seen on H1 and H4. No trades taken.

39Enormous pip hauls are really not necessary to be profitable. I have to keep reminding myself.
Quite a common NQ setup at open.
