Still not a peep from the west after Putin raised the stakes announcing referendums in 4 regions in eastern Ukraine on whether they wanted to join the Russian federation and an extra 300,000 troops for the area. The Ukraine is going to run out of men long before Russia ever does.

The only option left to NATO (EU and US) is to send in their own troops. So far not a word. The suspicion must be that NATO never wanted a real war just a proxy war where someone else was doing the dying.
