it looks great in photos, but in real life it’s not quite so great.
Is there any chance of sorting this out?

The trend comes from the existing structure logic in Jurik MACD centre-line fixation mode. HH + HL counts as an up trend and LH + LL as a down trend.
Blue means colour index 1 (50,150,255) or the light blue fill (160,200,255). Red means index 2 (200,50,100) or the light red fill (255,160,160).

The label only works with ZigZag mode set to Jurik MACD, and it is removed when the indicator is unloaded.
This indicator looks really nice, and I hope its signals do not repaint.

How it works

Direction: It uses the standard MACD line against the standard MACD signal line. The Jurik MACD is not used.
“Get ready” text: After a cross up it shows GET READY TO BUY, and after a cross down it shows GET READY TO SELL. The text stays on the chart until the opposite cross. It is found by scanning back through history, so it is also correct right after you load the indicator or switch timeframe.
BUY / SELL / WAIT text: After a cross up, it shows BUY while the 5 EMA is diverging away from the 13 EMA, and WAIT otherwise. After a cross down, it shows SELL under the same divergence test, and WAIT otherwise. It re-checks on every tick.

One is the persistent “get ready” text, and the other is the BUY / SELL / WAIT text that changes with the EMA divergence. They are two labels, so you can see both at once.
