How exactly do you use it? do you ask for a setup or anything else? thanksionone wrote: Tue Jul 28, 2026 2:25 am i'm still trying main LLMs here and there and my fav is still ChatGPT
first it is the one with the most free tokens (only from time to time you have to open another window but it remembers everything discussed almost)
Claude is not that great, it is slow and not very good in algo (I know that's not very popular opinion)
and Grok was my fav a while back but not enough free use for my taste, Ican't even form an opinion now.
I learn A LOT with ChatGPT and I love its way of thinking and he is very often right and finds new stuff that I didn't think about (also sometimes he is plain wrong lol, but less often now).
really good tool

22i simply ask what I need :can you create a low lag moving average, can you make it less laggyforexjoe85 wrote: Tue Jul 28, 2026 3:01 am How exactly do you use it? do you ask for a setup or anything else? thanks
what are the option to make a ma zero lag
or for EAs : can you add a money management for the EA, I need ATR based risk, etc
if you ask specific things it's is really good at it.
for bigger systems, you need to do it part by part

Re: Best LLM for trading ?
23Guys, for XMAS i'm gonna ask for one year of AI. (yes lucky me)
My choice is between ChatGPT and Claude Code
both are excellent to my eyes. I came to enjoy more Claude recently but their recent finances aren't bright (with billions in loss) so i'm not so sure it's a good idea to invest in it.
thanks
Jef
EDIT : I don't trust DeepSeek, I think they're collecting data of users : the AI ranks users by intelligence, analysing what they are asking, and then stealing codes, ideas, etc. There is no free lunch
I barely trust GPT or Claude so ...

24Which plan are you going to get for ChatGPT? The "Plus" model is what I'm looking at with access to Advanced reasoning models with GPT-6.ionone wrote: Mon Nov 02, 2026 3:36 am Guys, for XMAS i'm gonna ask for one year of AI. (yes lucky me)

I'm at a bit of a dilema though because Gemini is now leading the LLM charts with Gemini 4 Carbon for the same price but gives you Youtube Premium Lite plus 5TB of cloud storage across Gmail, Drive and Photos.
What would you choose?

25Im surprised Gemini is leading, usually it was behind especially in coding.ChuChu Rocket wrote: Tue Nov 03, 2026 12:02 am Which plan are you going to get for ChatGPT? The "Plus" model is what I'm looking at with access to Advanced reasoning models with GPT-6.

I was eyeing the $20 plan (that's already quite a lot of money). sure if I could I would get the best, but I can't really do that
