New worries for Zelensky after the apparent loss of US intel, now there are questions about the future use of Starlink.
Trump did stop US intel being given to Ukraine before but just for a few days before things returned to normal, but now Ukraine’s use of Musk's internet system is also being questioned, the loss of which would be devastating for the Ukrainian war effort.
The concerns might have arisen because of Zelensky's plea to be allowed to use Starlink over Russia. This would coincide with Zelensky's claim to having a new ballistic missile capability arriving soon.
It is doubtful that Ukraine is able to produce ballistic missiles themselves and Europe is the more likely source.
The real problem is that Zelensky is completely demented and has no understanding of the serious danger of escalating when you don't have escalation dominance.
Zelensky has kept escalating throughout the conflict in the hope it would trigger the west to get directly involved but all that happened was Russia escalating in response making Ukraine suffer even more.
With Starlink over Russia and ballistic missiles Zelensky will fire them straight into Moscow (“to bring the war to the Russian people”) and damn the consequences.
And then the Russians, who do have escalation dominance, will respond, quite possibly with tactical nuclear weapons, why not?
The US would then be faced with a situation well beyond anyone's control.
And so if little Zelensky gets his hands on ballistic missiles there must be no chance of him using Starlink for targeting them. Ukraine commanders are already complaining that Starlink over Ukraine has started to be speed limited, as in degrading the ability to use their first person view cameras on their fast moving objects.
So far Ukraine’s targeting has been controlled by the CIA and the Europeans with their respective satellite data input, but given the rhetoric coming out of Europe lately the US should be cautious of them too.

And what would a NATO attack on Kaliningrad be? A direct attack on Russian sovereignty, and that is the first reason Russia would use them. The second reason is because just what would NATO do if Russia fired a small tactical nuke at a NATO base somewhere in retaliation?
Absolutely nothing.
The reason they would do nothing is because NATO does not have escalation dominance, not against Russia they don't, the only thing NATO could do is trigger total nuclear war between Russia and the west.
The US is not going to sacrifice New York for Kaliningrad. Germany is not going to sacrifice Berlin for Kaliningrad.
Starting a war by attacking Russia on the premise that Russia won’t respond is the dumb thinking that started the Ukraine war in the first place.
So NATO is stuck, it can’t attack Russia directly, not without provoking a major conventional war that will automatically turn into a nuclear war.
The US really is not going to get involved unless they themselves are attacked first and Putin is just not going to do that.
The Euromorons on the other hand may well do something incredibly stupid because their backs are to the wall due to their incredible mismanagement of their own economies.
They really need Russia’s natural wealth to save them, it’s the only pot of gold within reach, and so the Euro elite oligarchy wants you to go and fight the Russians for them, thinking that the Russians won’t do anything serious to trigger the Americans. I think that’s a serious miscalculation.
I think that Putin knows the Americans won’t step in to save western Europe for the third time. Even if they did actually want to, the US just doesn't have the resources to fight another WW2 type ground war in Europe. They won’t even go into the middle east anymore let alone Europe.

Just to get a view of the overall picture, a reminder that in the 1960s the US told Cuba to get the Soviet nuclear missiles out of their country or there would be war. Nukes so close to the US border would mean insufficient time for the US to detect, assess and intercept. Thus the US would be at the Soviet’s mercy and destined to do whatever they were told. Cuba and the Soviets stood down and removed the missiles.
Steam forward 60 years and when the US announced that Georgia and the Ukraine were to join NATO Russia said that it would mean war because NATO would put nukes on Russia’s border and the same situation as in the 1960s would apply just the other way around.
But Biden and our European leaders were adamant and controlling Russia was the goal. But it didn’t go to plan, the west led Ukraine to war with Russia promising full and endless support but it wasn’t enough. And now the western leaders see that the NATO proxy war is being lost and so the next step is not to recognise reality, oh no, it’s to double and then triple down and hope like hell.
Unfortunately that’s not working either and the US is backing out, but the final option for the Europeans to avoid the deserved humiliating loss is to provoke Russia to attack them directly and then they can run to mummy America with a bloody nose crying that the nasty Putin punched them and what’s needed is an all out war to put Putin in his place.
So on top of the US neocons touting taking Kaliningrad by force the Baltic leaders are talking of setting up a sea blockade of Kaliningrad knowing full well that Russia will have to use force to break it.
