With the rise of AI agents & Neural Networks, programmers will less and less be needed.
when we reach AGI, there will be no need left for programmers, except maybe for very specific tasks that a computer can't comprehend yet.
but other than that, I think most programmer jobs will disappear in the future 5 years : why do you need to pay $100k a year when you get the same thing for $200 ? and often better coded ?
One of my cousin works for big army compagnies and I think he will be out of job soon
what do you think ? are we going programmer-less soon ?

2More realistically, everyone could become a programmer.
AI gives me 10x the power, meaning I can solve problems faster, try different architectures, and focus on logic more than writing hundreds of lines of code.
That said, an inexperienced person would not benefit from AI, because AI cannot go beyond its training, so it cannot create anything new unless pointed in that direction.
