Europe desperately needs to drag the US back into the Ukraine war.

Traditionally when the US finds itself in a war it can’t win, the plan becomes to create a stalemate and hold on to the next election when the new president can shut it down.

If the new president is of the same party as the old they can shut down with excuses, or if from the other party, they can shut down with blame on the outgoing admin.

Trump had that opportunity and failed to act, he got talked out of just getting out, same as he was just talked into getting into the Iran war.

Now the Europeans are panicking, the propaganda that ‘Ukraine is winning’ for some strange reason did not turn into reality and as a result of the cumulative actions of starting and continuing the war the EU and UK economies are disintegrating.

Their economies were already in a bad way before the war. After 20 years of massive investment in renewable energy schemes that failed simply because they were far too ambitious, led on by the beating drum bullshit that the world was going to end in a few years because of the big, bad global warming monster, whatever happened to those good old days?

Anyway, it turns out that a complete swap of energy supply can’t happen at the flick of a switch after all, who could have guessed.

And of course that sorry saga was a principle reason for greedily eyeing up Russia with its huge (fossil fuel) energy reserves in the first place.

Pair that with the US’s ambition to control the global oil supply and provoking Russia became a deliberate policy and Europe can’t stop now, the economic situation has only become more desperate to the point of being almost existential for western Europe as it heads for the cliff with its foot hard down on the accelerator.

And in the Iran war the Pentagon leaks increasing in number and volume against Hegseth’s running of the war which is unsustainable and is causing serious problems throughout the whole US military.

These leaks were published in the Washington Post and have led to some critics calling the WP a traitorous organisation.

Some military commentators are saying the Pentagon is desperate for Congress to step up and do their job and rein in Hegseth and Trump.

But the problem is that the Dems are fully behind both the current wars. Maybe after the midterm elections Congress will act?

Meanwhile the US staged a limited drone attack on Iranian launchers to which Iran responded with missile attacks on Jordan and UAE.

And great news, the US has automatically put all males between 18 and 45 on a potential draft list. It used to be that individuals needed to register themselves but not anymore thanks to AI.

Re: WW3 Countdown

The Iran war starts up again, Trump tells us the war is over and all the sea mines are cleared and that the Straits are open and then Iran spoils it all by firing drones at shipping, Trump escalates pretending he has escalation dominance, Iran responds by firing missiles into the US base in Jordan. Trump says all the missiles were shot down but then satellite pictures clearly show base buildings with large holes in them. Trump also tells us that the US sunk several Iranian mine laying ships.

But Lloyds of London insurers said that the mines were not cleared from the Straits immediately after Trump said they were. Iran shows the world they have not lost, and that they actually have more missiles than the US.

Trump is learning the lesson that Zelensky just got. If you don’t have 'escalation dominance' only the deluded would try 'escalation deterrence'.

Zelensky escalated to deter Russia by attacking Russian ships in the Sea of Azov but Russia responded by wiping out Ukrainian trade through its only sea port in Odessa. Zelensky then attacked Russian Amazon type warehouses but Russia responded by wiping out all Ukrainian food and goods warehouses so that supermarket shelves throughout the whole country are now going bare.

Iran is watching all this and is learning.

Meanwhile Zelensky number 2 Budanov says that changes need to be made to the mobilisations laws because Ukraine needs to recruit 30,000 a month just to keep up with losses. They would lower the age to 18 but there are nowhere near enough of them because of the drop in birth rate following the collapse of the Soviet Union, so women it will have to be then.

And a closer look at the missile problem for the west which is profound, sources are saying that when the Russians shoot down 1,000 Ukrainian drones in a single night half are by air defence missiles. Zelensky is screaming out for 300 US Patriot air defence missiles, that’s half the world's current total supply, Russia is firing off nearly twice that in a single evening, and they have been doing it day after day. Russia’s own estimate of success rate of their air defence is between 95 and 97% which is lower than Ukraine’s own estimation of Russia’s success rate.

The degree to which the west is so far behind in missile tech and production, having been the ones who pushed Russia into this war, is astonishing. Ukraine has no air defence left and neither does western Europe.

In the space of 4 and a half years Russia has de-militarised the whole of NATO.

When the west announced they were going to incorporate Ukraine and Georgia into NATO (2007 if memory serves) the Russians said it would cause a war, but the west knew Russia was only bluffing so went ahead anyway, except Russia wasn’t, and now the west finds themselves in a war they were totally unprepared for.

And Bessent tells us he is going to start ‘D-Day sanctions’, oh - so he’s going to take on China?
Bessent: “Oh God no, I don’t want to bring down the whole global economy”.

Err right, okay. So just more bluster, bullshit and market manipulation then.

And speaking of Bessent, expect another attempt to quell the bond market after Trump’s recent escalation in the Iran war sent the US 10 year yield to 4.8%.

Russian jets were seen flying over Odessa on Monday night with no fear of air defence.

Zelensky’s veiled threat to civilian airlines flying over Russia.

Russia reports Ukraine fired around 60 Flamingo cruise missiles over the last several weeks, nearly all were shot down.

Zap Ukraine city of Orihkiv in cauldron with Russian fighters in the center of the city.

Shootout in Kiev streets between Ukraine’s domestic and international secret service operatives, possible dispute between Zelensky and Budanov supporters and control of Ukraine’s organised scam call centres fleecing Europeans wanting to give to the Ukraine cause.

"It’s not every day that the country’s two biggest intelligence agencies slaughter each other on the streets. Well, in Ukraine, it isn’t all that rare an affair."

https://eventsinukraine.substack.com/p/ ... r-shootout

Russia’s new jet powered drones are causing big problems for the Ukrainians. They are too fast to be shot down by the traditional method which is machine gun mounted on a vehicle, and there are no air defence missiles to use on them. The second problem is that they are controlled by an operator who is able to manoeuvre the drone to target and so are also very accurate. This must be done using the new Russian Starlink analogue which has increasing coverage over Ukraine.

Iran commentators suggest Iran will keep the war going until Trump either walks away or is forced out of office, same as they did to Carter when they held the US embassy hostages.

Big Russian moves on the battlefield to form 2 huge cauldrons entrapping thousands of Ukrainian troops.

This is not counting the ongoing cauldron surrounding the Zap city of Orihkov.

The first is north of Kharkiv city and the second is in the Borova direction south east Kharkiv oblast pinning Ukraine forces against the Oskil river.

Russian sources estimate there are around 2 thousand Ukrainian troops trapped in the northern cauldron alone.

Zelensky says that Witkoff and Krushner are coming to Ukraine within days and will then go onto Moscow for talks, and then back to Ukraine.

European companies joined with Ukrainians say drone production in NATO states will be making 2000 - 5000 drones with a range of a thousand km available soon for use in Ukraine.

And reports that 100 new defence companies have suddenly sprung up in Lithuania suspected of being backed by NATO states.

Re: WW3 Countdown

It's becoming increasingly clear that western Europe is working in tandem with Zelensky because they have the same goal.

That is to keep provoking Russia to the point where they will over react and oblige the US to rejoin the war.

The plan is so divorced from reality as to be astonishing.

The Iran war has revealed US inadequacies in their inability to wage one full scale modern war let alone 2. The European leadership might be safe within their delusion bubble but the Americans actually need to be elected (unlike the EU) and so need a firmer footing in reality.

We in the EU, yes the UK is supposed to be out but voting doesn't really count for much these days, have not seen real growth for over 20 years.

Which means in real terms we are actually going backwards. This sorry situation has been exacerbated by some horrendous decisions of late such as cutting ourselves off from cheap Russian energy that tripled our own energy bills and was of no bother to Russia whatsoever.

Another detrimental decision by the EU was to sanction China and make Chinese electric vehicle imports unprofitable which again harms EU consumers far more than Chinese producers.

While the west is stagnant the Chinese are moving ahead in leaps and bounds. An interesting difference in the two cultures is seen in the use of AI.

In the west it is developed, encapsulated and a charge put on its use.

In China, which is also capitalist to a degree, it is free to use and encouraged, especially in business to increase innovation and efficiency.

One recent product launch to highlight the advantages of the Chinese approach is a new electric scooter on sale for $500 that has a 100km range and fully recharged for just 16 cents.

Another interesting difference between us and the Chinese is that they allowed their housing bubble to burst. It caused a lot of hardship at the time but time heals.

We in the west would never dream of doing such an obviously necessary thing, oh no, the housing bubble must continue for ever and ever no matter that houses have become completely unaffordable to new buyers.

We in Europe are currently doomed and starting a war with Russia really is not going to help.

A major reformation of the EU and dumping all the present leadership will help, or at least be a good start.

They are the real problem, not Putin.

In Ukraine the Russians continue forward to Kramatosk but also look to be moving to surround the whole conurbation which would entrap many thousands of Ukrainian troops if they are able to achieve it (see video below).

Not sure what’s going on with the Ukraine military Deepstate mapping, there was an announcement a week ago that mapping was to be halted, there has always been update lag on the site but in the last few days there have been lots of updates showing Russian advances, some that were over 2 months old. They often caused data lag in the past compared to independent mappers to scam the monthly territory gain/loss data.

Remember that Deepstate mapping is used by western sources to prove that the war is in stalemate and there is no movement on the frontline though those claims have fallen silent recently.

Lights out in Ukraine, looking more like North Korea. Should have come to terms long before this.
