Yes bro, exactly. Trading is a probability game, not a guarantee. No strategy can give a 100% win rate. Stop losses are a normal part of trading.

The main objective is simple:

Keep your losses small and controlled, and let your winning trades be bigger than your losing trades.

If you risk 1% per trade and target a 1:3 risk-to-reward ratio, one winning trade can recover three losing trades and still leave you in profit.

To increase the probability of success, always wait for a liquidity sweep before entering a trade. In many cases, price first takes out the stops above or below recent highs and lows, and then moves in the real direction. By waiting for this sweep and then entering after confirmation, you can reduce the chances of getting stopped out too early.

In short, successful trading does not mean every trade will be a winner. Real success comes from controlling your losses, waiting for high-probability setups, and making sure your winners are larger than your losers over time.

At the time you entered, there was no bullish CHoCH yet, so the market had not shown any clear sign of a reversal. so a bit risky to buy without a choch. also if you see h1 chart indicators are still bearish
Hi ujtrder, can you send me a request for the CHOCH indicator using the ex4 file? I thank you very much

I drew it manually. However, if you're still looking for an indicator, you can search for LuxAlgo Smart Money Concepts, or use the Smart Money Concepts indicator included in the following system. Keep in mind that indicators do not always work perfectly sometimes they mark invalid CHoCHs (Change of Character). That's why it's important to fully understand the underlying Smart Money Concepts before relying on any indicator.

This is something I've always struggled with when trading strategies with trend (a lot of my previous trading was BTMM/Stacey Burke style setups along with some wisdom from Peter Brandt and Al Brooks thrown in). But looking at the daily TF, are we in a bullish trend or are we seeing bearish structure begin to take place?

On the daily timeframe, we are currently ranging internally and the overall bullish structure remains intact until the last higher low is broken with a candle close below it. That would confirm a bearish CHoCH. However, there is a strong bullish order block below that level, so the bearish move could turn out to be a trap, followed by a bullish CHoCH in the opposite direction. So if price sweeps below HL and taps that OB, the bearish CHoCH could indeed become a liquidity grab instead of a true reversal. I’m waiting for price to test that order block and then looking for confirmation for a long-term swing trade. until then keep scalping buys on lower time frames...Good luck!!

I would also recommend learning about CISD(change in state of delivery), as it can provide you with an additional edge and further improve your trading decisions.

Good luck!!
Hello ujtrader, I entered two trades using the same method as you and a 1/2 risk-reward ratio. Do you think the entry point is suitable?

Perfect trades! You traded in the direction of the trend, as the HTF CHoCH had already occurred the day before.
