Re: WW3 Countdown
2133Serious danger now that the whole western world is being herded into an economically disastrous crisis on purpose.
Trump seems to be contemplating starting a limited ground war that even a blind man can see will quickly and chaotically descend into a perpetually increasing need to increase forces until we have a Vietnam type expansion incorporating a global economic collapse because of the added oil component.
And it’s all happening with absolutely no push back from the US congress or the Democrat party who were in full support of the war from the start and not a word from the Europeans either.
The only hope is that Trump is doing his bullshitting routine in an attempt to try to bluff the opponent, who has the stronger cards, to back down. And don’t forget that it is Trump who is escalating the war in Ukraine by enabling Ukraine to fire long range missiles into Russia.
There is the real possibility that Trump is not really in charge at all, that he’s been captured along with all the rest of the west and there are darker forces in play.
We know Netanyahu has been trying to get the ‘attack Iran’ scenario into play for 30 years now (because he said so) without success but it seems possible that our overlords have decided to use this spark to set the world alight because they consider now is the right time for a forced economic and social RESET.
What action can you take right now? Well to prepare myself for the coming apocalypse I just bought Fallout: New Vegas (£0.89) and Metro Last Night Redux (£0.88) in the Steam Spring sale and will practice, practice, practice.
Good hunting.

Re: WW3 Countdown
2136Great news, Trump, Hegseth and Netanyahu tell us that the straits are open, the war has been won, Iran's leaders are all dead, they have no more navy, no more air force, no more anti aircraft defences, no more launchers, no more drones, and no more missiles.
The slight swam of files in the ointment is that Iran has new leaders and the government is functional, they do have plenty of small boats, they never had an air force to speak of anyway, they are still launching drones and missiles, their air defences are still shooting down US and Israeli aircraft and the straits are only open to vessels the Iranians allow through and that’s certainly not tankers heading to western countries.
Trump, Hegseth and Netanyhu may be setting the scene to run away claiming victory, or at least that’s what I hope they’re doing. If this is so, they still face huge problems in that it seems the Iranians have no intention of opening up the shipping lanes no matter what the US does.
Iran looks to be determined to get a lasting resolution to the perennial problem of the US and Israel looking to attack them any time they convince themselves they have a shot at destroying Iran completely, failing, and running away again to rearm and try again later.
Their latest escalation in this attempt is to announce sending troops, perhaps to Khag island, which is an Iranian trap. Iran knew the Island would be attacked and disabled just as it was during the Iran Iraq war, US troops there would be nothing but a target.
And as for invading Iran proper, that must be a joke, the US would need a million and a half men and at least 5 years to succeed if that was even possible, currently the US have 400,000 in total and would get no help from Israel or the Europeans.
The only questions left in this dispute is how much will the US give up and how long will it take to get the straits open again and the global oil supply back to normal.
Europe is still using up the oil it bought at the old $60 a barrel price, soon they will be buying at the new $100 a barrel price, Europe has about 10-15 days and then you will start to see the stark changes this debacle brings.
Asia generally has less storage and ‘prices in Dubai are already hitting $170 a barrel’, and remember that supply will take years to get back to normal, ‘we’re not looking at a disruption event but a destruction event’, (see Duran video below).
All this was easily foreseeable and it makes you wonder why it wasn’t. Previous threats to western culture all came from the outside but all these latest disasters have all been carefully choreographed from the inside.
And in a new development Russia starts sending ‘humanitarian’ aid to Iran and it may not be long before China joins in. This really could be the start of a proxy war between the US and Russia/China and therefore the actual start of WW3.
Meanwhile in Ukraine, mobilisation goes up a gear in desperation, exemptions are being cancelled and roadside checkpoints are springing up. Seems there is an urgent need to increase the monthly quota and to capture some of the hundreds of thousands of deserters.
The pace of the conflict is quickening with the arrival of Spring. A huge Russian cauldron is being developed around the Ukrainian city of Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia oblast.

2138Why would it be that hard to invade Iran? I know of Iran's mountainous terrain but in terms of their military, do they even have a solid force?Ogee wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 8:01 pm And as for invading Iran proper, that must be a joke, the US would need a million and a half men and at least 5 years to succeed if that was even possible
Re: WW3 Countdown
2139Yes the topography is daunting, how would you get to the capital? Land ships from the Straits, if any survived the missile attacks then march troops across those mountains all the way to Tehran, not likely. No matter which approach, you've got mountains except the Caspian Sea and I doubt Russia will help you there.ChuChu Rocket wrote: Sat Mar 21, 2026 8:53 pm Why would it be that hard to invade Iran? So just getting to Tehran is going to be a sizable and lengthy problem. If they tried to just hold the Straits then they will be under constant attack for as long as they were there, they learnt those lessons back in the failures that were Iraq and Afghanistan. Russia and China will deliver as many missiles as Iran could ever hope for because distracting the US from Ukraine is in Russia's interest and it delays any US aggression against China.
But how long does the west have to build an army before economic collapse anyway? Probably not long enough. Besides that there is no public support, Trump will be turned out of office before a sizable army could be raised.
And what is the war really all about anyway? Netanyahu's dream of there not being any strong Islamic countries in the middle east is what it boils down to. Regarding the nuclear issue Iran could have had a bomb ages ago if they really wanted though now the value of that deterrence has been hammered home.
Trump is completely fucked, he just hasn't come to terms with it yet, doubling the price of oil severely affects the price of everything and that reckoning will be hitting very soon for everyone.
