Trump finally makes a move after a full year of misjudgement of the Ukraine conflict.
Zelensky has announced Trump has placed a deadline of June of this year for the conflict to end. But the fact that Zelensky is shouting this means he thinks Trump is about to force Putin to do something and he would think this because Zelensky has not had his head in reality for a very long time.
Zelensky probably doesn’t realise that even Trump must know by now that there is no pressure he can put on Russia, he can however put a lot of pressure on Ukraine and western Europe.
So even though Zelensky is announcing this news it can’t bode well for him or Ukraine. June could see the end of US involvement in the conflict. There was a partial pullout several months ago when Trump stopped US money to Ukraine.
But now we could see part 2 of that pullout with no more US intel, US satellite intel, and no more equipment including missile deliveries.
It is true that the CIA, as a rogue agency, works outside of US governmental and does get some stuff shipped to Ukraine even after Trump has supposedly shut it down, as they did in the past when Trump stopped deliveries for 2 weeks.
And it’s true that congress might still vote occasional packages of cash through but they are minor and certainly not the billions actually needed.
Reminder also that the Europeans still haven’t come up with the €90 Billion for Ukraine they were supposed to provide following the US pullout part 1. The Europeans don’t have the money, can’t borrow the money, and can’t come up with a scheme that can entice investors to stump up the money.
The cause looks lost because issuing bonds to raise the money is based on everyone thinking Russia will lose and be forced to pay reparations, it seems that no one actually believes that anymore.
Without billions being delivered soon Ukraine will collapse into a major humanitarian disaster. The end of March has been previously cited for the collapse of the government due to lack of funds.
Meanwhile the Russians continue the destruction of Ukraine's power plants and have started on the sub-stations joining the nuclear power stations to the national grid. Also under attack are the sub-stations linking other European countries. It would seem a total power shutdown of the whole country is coming.
The Russians have started using their biggest missiles designed to sink US aircraft carriers to totally destroy Ukraine’s non nuclear power plants so that any repairs are impossible.
And the peace talks look to be in jeopardy again, this time due to the Ukrainians attempting to assassinate the Russian peace delegates.
Ho ho that Zelensky, he’s really not going to let anything stand between him and that hoped for €90 billion is he.

2044Ho ho, turns out that discussions between Witkoff and Jared and the Russians were about trade deals and not peace deals this whole time.
Russia and the US are lining up a $12 trillion deal covering years of integration and partnership.
Peace in Ukraine will occur whenever Zelensky is ready for it. But Zelensky says peace is determined on getting his security guarantee demands which he was already told is not going to happen.
And on cash payments stretching long into the future, also that he can't get anyone to promise to give.
So, like the sulking child, he keeps throwing his toys into the grinder until he hopefully gets what he wants.
But the adults have already moved on, deals to make, other conflicts to start and profit from.
Zelensky is trapped, he is totally dependent on others getting him out of a hole but they’re quite content, for their own ends, to see him stuck in it.
And all the while the Russians continue to achieve their goals - permanently, on the battlefield.
And Russian foreign minister Lavrov in his latest interview talks about the US and the Europeans constant attempts to escalate the conflict. In all fairness I don’t think Trump actually has much control over the US effort in the war.
When Trump ordered a stop on shipments to Ukraine 6 or so months ago to put pressure on Zelensky to come to a deal the CIA happily ignored it and Zelensky even boasted shipments were arriving as usual. Also, Trump was surprised to hear of the drone attack on Putin’s residence a few weeks ago, that attack could only have been carried out with US assistance. And immediately after the assassination attempt on the Russian general a few days ago Russia's first response was to missile attack a British intelligence cyber operation based in Odessa.
One observable trend is that the world’s attention is being drawn elsewhere, Iran, South America, meanwhile in the Ukraine conflict commentators are saying Russia is preparing to take the June 2024 deal off the table and replace it with a new offer that they will stop if Ukraine hands over 8 oblasts instead of the current 4.
So the only one who can end this disaster for Ukraine is Zelensky and the longer he holds out the worse the terms will be, meanwhile the US and European hawks keep cheering him on, they’ve got nothing to lose after all.
Zelensky should consider that none of these hawks will ever be in a position to aid Ukraine once the conflict is over and the current bunch of western leaders will have been turned over and gone for good.

2046UK media continues to spread the Ukrainian military intel’s fake narrative concerning Russian casualties. ‘THE RUSSIANS CONTINUE TO TAKE HORRENDOUS LOSSES’ the Telegraph tells us, as they have done daily for the last 4 years.
I have pointed out a number of times previously that the Ukrainian numbers are impossible given the overwhelming advantage the Russians have had in long range fires throughout the conflict.
But the fake narrative must be upheld no matter the false logic by the western intel agencies and the western press and so too then must the push back against the blatant lying.
The Ukrainian military intel have always been focused on PR and optics to push their fake narratives hence they release far more videos than the Russians ever did. Ukrainian videos are nearly always from FPV drones attacking Russian troops and so have always been a prime source of information for independent mappers to plot the contact zones, the areas where the frontline actually is at any point in time.
The Russians release far fewer videos not being so keen to give away positional data, and their videos mostly show Russian troops out in the open waving Russian flags to show where the fighting was, not is.
Based on video output alone you might think that the Ukrainians were killing far more Russians and the Russians were slowly moving westward with no opposition.
But the troops on the ground know the truth, and they talk to their friends and families so they also know the truth. And so you get the situation where the Ukrainians need to drag people kicking and screaming off the streets to send to the front while the Russians have volunteers queuing up to join.
The reason for that is because it’s the Ukrainians who are suffering horrendous losses not the Russians, and the Ukrainian public knows it.
It’s military intel’s job to prop up fake narratives to influence those who don’t have access to the truth, that’s of course the western public who are financing the continuation of the slaughter.
Best they don’t find out the truth or the money flow might dry up.

Kallas’ brilliant plan is for the EU to dictate the size of any future Russian army. Sadly she has not revealed exactly how this glorious plan might actually be achieved.
Not to be outdone, Van Der Moron has come up with yet another plan to steal the Russian frozen assets.
A new plan is necessary because Ukraine is getting desperate for the €90 billion the EU promised but does not have.
The individual European countries are too indebted to borrow it and the issuing of bonds idea has fallen through because repayment is dependent on Russia losing the war and paying reparations which no one with any real money now believes will actually happen.
The Moron’s new great idea is to move the frozen assets out of the Euroclear bank and put the money into another bank, and simply steal it from there.
I can't understand why no one’s thought of it before.
Absolutely brilliant and the sort of remarkable insight we've come to expect from the top minds in the EU.
But it's a very real sign of how desperate Ukraine and the EU are getting, time is running out for the survival of them both.
On the battlefronts and Ukraine has shown that it can still attempt counter attacks, but just one at a time. So Ukrainian attention has shifted away from Kupyansk leaving the Russians to take back any gains the AFU might have made over the last few weeks, and has now shifted to the Zaporozhia front, or the eastern part of it at least.
This is a straight out attempt at fire fighting by the AFU and a clear sign of desperation brought on by a lack of available manpower.
And finally, Zelensky is again talking up the need for peace and the need for Ukrainian elections, a (fake) show of willingness to compromise he habitually puts on when there’s something big coming, this time he may be thinking of the expected Russian spring offensive, or perhaps just his desperate need for that €90 billion.

2050Interesting events over the last few days. Russia continues to use Iskander missiles to destroy Ukrainian power plants. Previously only a few ballistic missiles were deployed each night but now 25 are routinely dispatched with the aim of making the power plants irreparable.
Also of note are the reports from US intel of flight prep activity at the Oreshnik missile launch site.
The Ukrainians are expecting retaliation for the recent assassination attempts by Ukrainian intel operatives on Russian military personnel in Moscow.
In light of the above, over half the members of the Ukraine RADA failed to turn up for sessions, complaining of sudden acute health problems.
Zelensky meanwhile has reverted back to type and now says there will be no peace, it’s far better that the whole population lives without power and water and the continued loss of 30,000 Ukrainian lives a month on the battlefield than giving up the 15% of the Donbas that the AFU still occupies.
With just a little more help from the west Zelensky can obviously win this and can then be elected president for life and everyone will live happily ever after, 'where’s that pixy fairy dust gone?'
Meanwhile the Europeans are now saying that perhaps they should talk to Putin after all but don’t worry, it’s all just a ruse to upset the Americans who have been particularly mean to them lately.
The truth is that the Europeans don’t ever want this war to end because it keeps the US engaged in Europe and so saves the Europeans a fortune in defence spending, money they just don’t have.
On the battlefronts the Russians have started attacking the Zaparozia city of Orikhiv with FAB bombs and multiple launch rocket systems which is the usual prelude before flanking troop deployments.
This new move presents a problem for AFU command who are still engaged in a counter attack on the eastern front in Zaparrozia. As said previously the AFU don’t have the men to engage in 2 offensives at once, so do they abandon the counter offensive to try to save Orikhiv, or not?
