Crowd Panic Meter with Divergences

This indicator is designed to measure how "extreme" the current market prices are compared to recent history and represent the retail trader crowd "feeling" towards the market.

The indicator calculates a Z-score of the closing price over a given lookback period.
The Z-score is designed to show you how far the latest price deviates from its recent average in terms of standard deviations.

Interpretation

• Indicator is above 2.0 level: Crowd is euphoric and price could soon fall.
• Indicator is below -2.0 level: Crowd is fearful and price could soon rebound.
• "Classic" divergences are an additional confirmation of a price reversal.
• "Hidden" divergences can be used as a signal that the trend will continue.

Unique indicator with decent reversal signals. The divergences really help with additional confirmation.
