yea i think it's the main purpose of Xard system to be consistent rest it's up too you if you're good price action trader probably ema's would be enough. Xard system just make structure to make life easier suggesting what trade you should take. So i think single tf is enough to trade. You asked before why sema values are changing from version to version it's because Xard is that good at trading he's doing it all "by hand" testing how it performe before releasing. So u can say he is adjusting it to a current volatility.
I think the best rule you can have is something that Xard wrote after he was pissed off by the same questions again and again he wrote something like this it's not direct quote:
"You know what i will tell you something about day trading if you're in a trade and price crosses ema in opposite direction just get the f*ck out"
