it is not about trading using M30, but identifying M30 probable direction to see if your lower TF price movment is in syncVetis wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 2:24 am and vwap too in 30M this way i can just switch to 30m TF and trade from there

1172So if we should always trade from 30M TF direction on let's say 5M then why not put box with 30M TF direction. now we have pink dot on 30M TF so it would be ok to trade on 5M to green dot on 30M ?

Re: 🔺 MT5 XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
1174it is not as easy, because any lower TF can somehow get synced with M30 or higher, the goal is to find two TF in sync with sufficient gap to use bigger TF major trend to help trading in lower TFVetis wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 2:46 am So if we should always trade from 30M TF direction on let's say 5M then why not put box with 30M TF direction. Re: 🔺 MT5 XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
1175the M30 big pink dot is displayed as down arrow on M5, so you have to wait second or fourth mini dot to minimize risk before entering short (or enter sooner using tdi for instance)Vetis wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 2:53 am Gold.png

but remember M30 major trend is up, and that price is above opening, so going short can be done but not ideal
Re: 🔺 MT5 XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
1176And now we don't have small dot on 30M and we have big dot on 5M TF i don't know if Xard delayed showing last sema in this version until there is small price pullback or it's just a bug but as you can see we don't have sync betwen TF's.

1177From what I can see you may get 1, maybe 2 setups per week on XAU on m5 using these rules. That is a lot of waiting.Vetis wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 4:29 am And now we don't have small dot on 30M and we have big dot on 5M TF i don't know if Xard delayed showing last sema in this version until there is small price pullback or it's just a bug but as you can see we don't have sync betwen TF's.

1178this would be not even that much of a problem but you have different TF's that people trade using Xard system data feeds because it's OTC market. So it's just more of a guide and to be honest i don't know if waiting for bigger tf to sync make a difference.Tomson wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 4:37 am From what I can see you may get 1, maybe 2 setups per week on XAU on m5 using these rules. 1179I get it. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I guess the key is to just be consistent in the way rules are applied. Re: 🔺 MT5 XARD - Simple Trend Following Trading System
1180yea i think it's the main purpose of Xard system to be consistent rest it's up too you if you're good price action trader probably ema's would be enough. Xard system just make structure to make life easier suggesting what trade you should take. So i think single tf is enough to trade. You asked before why sema values are changing from version to version it's because Xard is that good at trading he's doing it all "by hand" testing how it performe before releasing. So u can say he is adjusting it to a current volatility.Tomson wrote: Tue Nov 04, 2025 4:55 am I get it. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. I think the best rule you can have is something that Xard wrote after he was pissed off by the same questions again and again he wrote something like this it's not direct quote:
"You know what i will tell you something about day trading if you're in a trade and price crosses ema in opposite direction just get the f*ck out"
