At this point you need to ask just what actually is meant by ‘winning’?

Ukraine is in constant retreat territoriality, is suffering horrendous losses (no matter what the propagandists might say), and has chronic equipment and ammunition shortages.

Turns out that the definition of ‘winning’ has changed dramatically lately.

Zelensky now defines winning as ‘not letting Putin achieve his goal of taking over the whole of Ukraine.’


That's a radical change from ‘a beach party in Crimea’.

But he’s also projecting fake goals onto Russia.

It's a simple trick that has been played by Zelensky and the west over and over again.

Make up a fake goal or targets for Russia, and when they don’t achieve it, because it was never one of their actual goals, then you can say you’ve won or stopped the Russians from doing whatever.

At no point did Putin ever have the goal of taking over all of Ukraine. Sure the US and the Europeans keep saying he did but that really never made sense.

Western Ukraine has always been very anti-Russian. Putin has never expressed any desire to go anywhere near it. He only ever talked of helping ethnic Russians from the persecution inflicted by their fellow Ukrainians.


The startling reality now is that there is no plan at all for any kind of an actual Ukrainian victory, not from the Ukrainians, or the Europeans, or the US.

None at all.

So what are they doing?

For the Zelensky regime it’s all PR and optics, it doesn’t seem to matter that none of it is real. The sole goal for Zelensky is to keep the flow of money from the west going. The actual dying on the battlefield is of no consequence to them.

The European’s sole goal is to keep the US in Europe. The actual dying on the battlefield is of no consequence to them, may it go on forever as far as they’re concerned.

The sole goal of the US now is to get out but in such a way as to still be able to somehow call it a victory. No matter what Trump says, the actual dying on the battlefield is of no consequence to them.

That’s why the powers that be want continuation no matter the cost to the country and the people of Ukraine.

Unbelievably there are still a few in Ukraine (and many in the west) who think it’s a good idea to keep it going.

Err, you never know, maybe that million to one chance might turn up after all, only it really won’t.

The Russians need to keep going so long as the Zelensky regime keeps throwing Ukrainians at them.

They also need to keep going so long as there's a threat of NATO troops turning up in Ukraine. That's why it's the Russians that need security guarantees not the Ukrainians, the Ukrainians just need a peace treaty with Russia.

Russian troops number 600,000 and Ukraine is now 200,000 (down from a stated 300,000 a month or so ago) so still a little way to go before ‘the last Ukrainian’.

That this shit show is still being supported by anybody at all is a disgrace to all humanity.


Additional: US Trump advisor Scott Bessent is now calling on the EU/UK to join the US for a joint sanctions package on Russia, China and India including huge tariffs.

As I said recently, this would be SUICIDE for EU/UK. The damage caused would be 100 times worse than the slow death by deindustrialisation of western Europe caused by the initial energy sanctions imposed against Russia in 2022.

The US seriously wants to sacrifice all of western Europe so they can save face over the imminent failure of project Ukraine.

Fortunately we can rely on our leaders Ursula van der Moron and Karen ‘the clown’ Callus to stop this nonsense … errr, oh wait.
