I hope not too but the reality is that missile technology has come on so far now that the US can't invade without exposing themselves to extreme danger.

The US spent over 6 months gathering their forces in the desert before the attack on Iraq all those years ago, completely safe from any incoming fires.

Those forces today would be under constant attack from super and hypersonic missiles and they would have minimal defence.

The biggest producers of such missiles? Russia, China, Iran and North Korea.

Brent spot crude now over $78 a barrel and climbing, and that's before any actual shortages (so much for the EU $42 price cap).

I wonder how much the EU will be paying for Russian oil via India now, $100 a barrel? Asking for a friend.
