We can talk about other regions. So, Donbas is Russian.
Kiev is of course Russian, because Holy Mother Rus is Kievan
and not Moscowan (Russia was baptized in Kiev in 988).
And there is no separate Ukrainian nationality, but there is Little Russia.
This is the official narrative of the Kremlin.
Since the Pereiaslav Agreement in the 17th century, Ukraine
has belonged to the Russian sphere of influence, and it is
the Kremlin's ambition to restore this state of possession back.

In this way, we will come to the conclusion that even the DDR
with the pro-Russian AfD winning in its territories is also Russian,
because the Tsar has a sentiment for Dresden, where he spent his youth. ;)

Let me simplify this for clarity—it seems there’s a communication barrier. Wojtek, stay on topic. The original point was your belief that Russia would take all of Ukraine, which you admitted wasn’t their intention. You then compared this operation’s speed to Crimea, and I explained the two situations are incomparable. In 2014, 60% of Crimeans identified as Russian, making the process smoother.

Why are you dragging in irrelevant history like Tatars, Rus, or Dresden? What’s next—Lviv being under Polish control or dinosaurs roaming here? Stick to the original discussion instead of deflecting when you run out of arguments.

The last dinosaur lived in Cracow (Wawel Dragon) not in Lviv. ;)

Of course, I'm not talking about Yanukovych. ;)

BTW, Lviv is a city belonging exclusively to the independent state of Ukraine.
Even if historically it once belonged to Poland, no one here has
sick neo-imperial ambitions to make international adventures.
If one wants to conquer something, one should do it in
a modern and civilized way - for example, through investment,
and not anachronistically - with an army and through war,
completely disregarding the tragedy and suffering of millions
of people, only to satisfy his personal ambitions.

How can you claim to rely on historical experience when the sources you’ve shared here are nothing but mainstream copy-paste material, lacking any analytical depth or original thought? Are you simply a passive consumer, or do you actually engage in critical thinking? I’d like to believe it’s the latter.

The sources you’re using to gather and share information are one-sided mainstream propaganda, as has already been demonstrated here. Let’s aim for a more balanced and thoughtful discussion.

Wojtek, please have the decency not to edit or add data to your posts after the fact—it lacks transparency and undermines honest discussion. When we engage in debate, I always respond to your full message as it was originally presented. As for your Lviv remark, if you read the context above your post, it’s clear why I made that comment—assuming you’re approaching this with clarity and good faith. It seems you’re selectively replying to points that suit you while straying from the core discussion. I believe you’re capable of better than that.

I would like to point out that I edit posts within 24 hours.
I don't have time to write everything on the fly.
Please take this into account when responding. Thank you.
