Zelensky goes on a whinge binge at Trump in Paris. Trump ignores him.

Trump then undermines Zelensky by giving far greater figures for Ukr losses than the official Ukr figures.

Zelensky responds by giving new, even lower figures than the official ones - lol.

Trump then gives clear indication US aid likely to dry up after Jan 2025.

So Zelensky then, in a temper, runs to Biden demanding immediate entry into NATO.

Ukr is just running out of men and there is no one coming to save them.

Total collapse is imminent, there is no possible other way out if Ukr continue to refuse to negotiate with Putin.

And so a very real possibility Trump will soon be telling Ukr to just accept Putin's June peace offer and be done with it.

(no NATO - ever, and give up the 4 oblasts and Crimea)

But that deal may have already left the station with Russia now seriously looking at other Russian speaking cities such as Kharkov and Odessa.

Ukr's final defences in east Ukr falling will force a retreat to behind the Dnipro river but there are no solid defences there other than the river itself. Russian can cross in the north and then work their way down south west along the west bank.

Pokrovsk next in Russian advance and it's role as a distribution hub already negated. Not a fortified town and so will not hold out for very long.

The last of the fortified towns are being cleared in Donbass and so an end of the dense conurbations built to service industrial east Ukr. After that just wide open agricultural land sparsely populated with no defence works all the way to the Dnipro river.

Ukr started out with an army of 750,000 to just under 1 million, now just 330,000 remain. Zelensky says 43,000 killed but what happened to the other 700,000? They must be hiding somewhere?

Rus started with 190,000 troops in Ukr, now Ukr estimate there are 700,000 but only 500,000 engaged on the battlefronts. So 200,000 reserved for …? NATO perhaps, or a charge forward on a Ukr collapse?

Worth watching the whole thing though, talks about west and Rus economy, military production, propaganda and much more. The guest provides analysis for NATO so now you know that if a NATO rep says the Rus economy is collapsing they are flat out lying.


Macron goes to Poland trying to gather troops to send to Ukr because France can only raise 10,000. At the current Russian kill rate that's enough to last all of 5 days. Poland might send some too but neither country wants to pay for the deployment, they both want ... err... Germany to pay. Never nothing but a fucking clown show.

Only fair to point out that 'The Moscow Times' is a staunchly anti Putin English language newspaper based in the Netherlands and doesn't actually have anything to do with Moscow.

Biden escalates as Trump negotiates:

Biden fires more ATAMS into Russia leads to a new warning from the US of another Oreshnik missile to be launched within next few days.

All the ATACMS seem to have been shot down with some debris hitting a car park, Ukr say they hit an industrial complex next to the car park, Rus say they were aimed at Rus command centre further along the trajectory before being intercepted.

Meanwhile Trump uses Victor Orban to start negotiations with Putin. From the Russian read out of the call between Orban and Putin it sounds like the first offer from Trump was a big reduction in sanctions in exchange for a ceasefire. Putin's response was an immediate, polite, but definite, No.

Fairly certain Trump will need to keep raising till he gets to Putin's oft stated bare minimum (never NATO in Ukr and the 4 oblasts on top of Crimea) because, in spite of western commentator's propaganda, Putin knows he actually holds all the cards.
