This should be easy, a yes or a no ........is there a Heatmap or Grid of stochastic for MTF to show when it has gone under and over 'level 50' in each timeframe?
Thanks

1192Universal Stochastic Oscillator
Here is universal stochastic. In this stochastic find 4 types of calculations:
In first picture all versions.
In third picture is comparison of triple smoothed and extra smoothed same periods.
I apply to triple smoothed stochastic same smoothing methods what I use on my averages indicators.
As you see stochastic is more faster, but still smoothed.

- Simple stochastic
- Double smoothed
- Triple smoothed
- and Extra smoothed
high/low/close
, smoothing option, MTF and alerts. In first picture all versions.

Re: Stochastic indicators for MT4
1194Thanks for that - although I cannot download it for some reason.
The MTF indicator I am looking for is something that is specific to one chart so that a trend is immediately identified.
There are two criteria to my thoughts -
1. The stochastic indicator is under or over level 50 in MTF mode 1hr, 30m, 15m and 5m - and
2. The stochastic cross is either up or down in 1hr, 30m, 15m and 5m.
Therefore trading the 1m chart would be easy as the 1m signal would be virtually 100% correct.
I will post this in 'ideas' thread as I see (now I have written it down) it does not belong here.

Re: Stochastic indicators for MT4
1195Fantastic indicator & now the only Stochastic you will need..... the Extra Smoothed Stochastic option is just great

Re: Stochastic indicators for MT4
1196About the last picture, when i change method to extra smoothed i dont see any difference in the indicator, i see it says if price smoothing =1 no smoothing, but in your images it has =1.kvak wrote: Sun Aug 18, 2024 6:16 am Universal Stochastic Oscillator

1197Hello. I don't understand what you compare? You write, that you don't see any difference, but from what?ffsss wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 5:21 am About the last picture, when i change method to extra smoothed i dont see any difference in the indicator, i see it says if price smoothing =1 no smoothing, but in your images it has =1.
One more time to clarify : Extra smoothed stochastic is triple smoothed stochastic, where I applied the smoothing method in its calculation (no price smoothing).
Price smoothing in this stochastic is a method where the entry price is firstly smoothed with moving average from list and after is used for calculation in stochastic.
Re: Stochastic indicators for MT4
1198I mean that i dont see any difference on the indicator when i change the smoothing method (like the difference on the 3rd picture of yours)kvak wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 7:18 am Hello. I don't understand what you compare? You write, that you don't see any difference, but from what?

1199But on this picture is triple smoothed stochastic (first window) and extra smoothed stochastic( second window).ffsss wrote: Wed Aug 21, 2024 6:06 pm I mean that i dont see any difference on the indicator when i change the smoothing method (like the difference on the 3rd picture of yours)
I think that you're mixing apples and pears...read my previous post one more time....

1200I don't understand what I've done. But I'll explain it to you now.
1. We find the average range (High-Low) per fPeriod.
2. We take the right amount of percent of the gPeriod range. It can be positive, negative and 0 (original).
3. We use this figure to correct the basic formula.
