you are right!!!

the issue is caused because renko is building the chart on the given 'n' number of bars, and every new bar being built would forego the oldest bar...

and this would in turn mess up the indicator signals, (I observed this during live markets the past 3 sessions)

thanks a ton for enlightening me on this !!!

would you please shed some light about the name of non-repainting renko generator [or the time-anchored renko generator]...?

Thanking you in advance sir

Best Regards
SS

I believe it's the same one, I hadn't seen this question about Renko. I've already used the demo period and I believe it really won't repaint.

Dear Kvak - I am trying to automate my system and the core is your wonderful StepMA indicator. To automate it I'd need to have specific default settings in the indicator that mirror my system. I know that asking for a code is unpolite, but hope that asking for 5m of your precious time can be fair.

These are the settings, they are the best possible for 5/15M daytrading. I am pretty sure about this. Could you be so kind to compile a version of the indicator with these as default? Many thanks!

Good evening Mr Tools, how are you? As you may have noticed, I've been studying a lot about the indicators linked to ATR.

Could you include your AVGS and RMAs + MTF?

as this is different from ATR Bands and FIBB due to its Step factor.

Thank you very much in advance :)

EDIT: if you could include the ATR bands and update the avgs/rmas in your Step MA indicator it would be even better :D

Step Smoother Momentum with Coloring for Zero Cross + Slope with ATR & Deviation options

This is a step smoother momentum with a choice of coloring on zero cross or slope. Can choose between atr type step or standard deviation step, choices are, built in atr, custom atr, adaptive atr, standard error, ema deviation, custom standard deviation - with sample correction, or custom standard deviation - without sample correction.

Good evening Mr Tools, how are you?

Thanks for the previous indicator! I have been exploring the options with ATR, Z Score, WPR and Pivots and seeing this indicator came up with the idea of a Step WPR with STD/ATR smooth.

Would it be possible to replace momentum with WPR? And of course, is there the possibility of add the Avgs/RMAs?

thank you very much!! :D
