- use a lot of TF's, i know this may seem like a bad idea, but you need a HTF to look at the key values and bigger trend, a smaller one to control entries, and an even lower one to make entries. ATS trend, Heinkin Ashi candle colour are all good tools to define the trend in the HTF.

i use no stops with smaller amount
or lock loss by open a buy and a sell to wait for more evidence
stop loss is trash
significant moves only happen over a long period of time as you know

it doesn't matter in my opinion if you use them or not, as long as you defined your limits, closing automatically or manually is the same. I'm not able to watch the screen 24/7 so the SL makes sense to me, but i get your point. Depends on your screen time availability.

If on the other hand your telling me to not have a clear value to close the trade, a value you define (before entering the trade) when it doesn't make sense to hold it anymore, then i disagree.

My view on SL's.

edit: watching the trade unfold you can decide to how the candle(s) react on top of your limit, and it's better then to have a fixed value. But depends on if you can be at the screen all the time

You can win 1000 times and one hit burn your account. I done 1200% not one time, and one bad trendy move burn several of my accounts. Do stop loss intelligent way.

- slowly enter a trade and slowly exit a trade. If it's going your way add more. It you already got a nice profit scale down, let the rest role with a profitable SL
Totally agree, could have made a fortune just waiting like in this screenshots

this is how the very good traders can have a bad month or two and still make a killing at the end of the year. I can't do what Beatle does yet or ever, idk. But for now this is the way to go forward for me.
Pick an instrument, any of them, and apart from one or 2 crazy ones that spent months ranging, any of them eventually ends up giving you a big run

I was trading XAU and EURUSD but decided to let go XAU. Still made a killing on the EURUSD
