I was using this custom EA to open trades based on arrow buffers from another indicator, automated trades are ON, smiley face, i get the message on the Experts terminal to open the trade but no trade is opened.

yep, that is exactly how i've been using it. See M15, go to M5 and look for the little white dots. Quick in and out.
